This Hotel was a great place to stay. Some of the staff is wonderful and some just don't want to do anything for you. But didn't let that bother me. Had a wonderful

Way overpriced for a horrible nights stay. The only positives are the rooms are very nice and very spacious and the breakfast is decent. Things go downhill from there…The noise level is obnoxious until 2am due to the hotel being right next to the club scene. I should have known it would be a problem when I saw complimentary ear plugs on nightstand. The parking is 45 a night which is outrageous when the nights stay is already overpriced considering the noise level at night. Also, the front desk staff doesn’t ask how your stay was, probably due to the complaints they receive. Staff was not friendly either.Gave it a two stars due to the room being spacious, clean and comfortable.Oh, and buyer beware, the parking gate will try to charge you when you leave after checkout but they charge you on your hotel bill already.Rooms: The rooms are nice and very spacious.Nearby activities: Dining and nightlife in walking distance but be careful at night.A man was pickpocketing right behind my son on the sidewalk (walking back from dinner) and the guy pickpocketing got a beat down by the guy and his buddy. Not the kind of excitement we were looking for. We are not big city people so a bit of a culture shock.

Rooms facing the street are very noisy. There is only dinner once a week in this Homewood.

Not a bad spot for the downtown Austin area. Pet friendly and near the convention center. I love the app ability to select my room. Only issue is on one side is road noise of IH-35. On the back side is a hand full of small bar/club spots. Not overly loud but we could definitely hear the music on the back side. Even though we were on the 14th floor. This made it a little tedious to fall asleep. The IH-35 side would have been better.Very friendly and helpful staff!

$45 a day to park. Be sure to add that to your daily room fee.

Room and hotel are beautiful! My key card wouldn’t work, got locked out of my room 3 times. Since my card didn’t work I couldn’t use the elevator. This was a nightmare! I prepaid for my room. I was charged a again. No one knew how to fix it. Our room was right by the highway and I couldn’t sleep at night due to the noise, thank goodness they provided ear plugs. Due to my member status I was able to get a late check out but house keeping walked into my room while we were getting ready. I was supposed to stay again in February but canceled my room. It isn’t worth all the drama I went thru on this stay.

Stayed at Homewood suites this past weekend hotel and location was great! I paid in full for two suites for my daughters 21st bday. The next day I noticed hotel charged me again for both rooms. They had to reimburse my money for both rooms. When we checked out to leave we had to pay for parking lady charged my card three times and had to cancel an refund cause each time parking amount was wrong. She said my money was refunded. Looked at my statement this evening and she still charged me a total of $438.39 for parking I was only suppose to pay $135 for each room 3 night parking $270.00 I called hotel and they said manager will contact me tomorrow. My husband also left $250 Bose speaker we called hotel immediately waiting to hear back if cleaning crew found and put in safe. I only gave 2 stars cause of location and rooms were great. Customer service is horrible and unorganized. Front desk needs to be trained on software and communication.

Worst hotel I’ve been at. The rooms have no noise isolation so you can hear the banging and partying downstairs, even when you’re up on a top floor. Hotel staff don’t care to help and just insult you instead. Completely unacceptable and I’d give this 0 stars if I could.

Being next to Rainey st it is extremely loud. The rooms are large but dated and mine was a bit dirty. High traffic surfaces like doors and cabinets were greasy, tile floors felt filmy. Floor always smelled like hot dogs? Surrounding construction as of Oct 2023 is a mess. City view is in fact construction view.

Location was perfect next to Rainey st. Service was excellent l. Room was good however we noticed multiple "clean" dishes that still had food residue on it, but only took us a few seconds to rewash dishes before using. Only issue was we were facing highway and the noise from it was loud allllll night. Its not a very sound proof building. I would recommend requesting a room facing Rainey st. It will be noisy too but hopefully by bar close time you'll get less noise.Nearby activities: Everything within walking distance

$45 parking, $100 room deposit. Construction entrance will have Google maps sending you in circles. Wouldn't stay again. Pool is overrated, dirty, with yellow towels didn't even try it. Flies in the muffin case during breakfast.

Austin is such a great city and being in the downtown area has its perks. But one of the downsides of being downtown are that prices are usually higher (room rates are higher, parking isn't free, etc). The common areas of the hotel are nice (lobby,, business center, gym, pool, laundry room) and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is free and pretty decent. They have scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, juices, and coffee.Overnight parking is $45/day. Hotel is located right behind Rainey St which has a lot of bars and food trucks. Hotel is about one mile from Congress St. I would definitely stay here again for the location alone.

Rooms are very quiet, clean, Spacious, and comfortable. The internet is very slow and would not run my Roku box. We had to use our phone hotspot. The lady who checked us in was snobby at first but 20 minutes later she was nice. Don’t know why. The hotel is walking distance to lots of food and bars. Parking garage is very nice and well lit at night and easy to access from our room. cost is $45/night. Overall, my wife and I had a very nice 4 night stay. We would not hesitate to stay again.

I accidentally booked a hotel that wasn't walking distance to the conference center so chose this one due to proximity. The hotel is nice. Breakfast is free. I didn't feel comfortable walking alone to the convention center from here, but would have felt totally fine with friends. Easy walk.
