Great tax preparation agent and I’ve returned because of her expertise and friendliness. But H&R Block charged me 63% of my return amount this is so highly unethical and offensive I will never return or recommend H&R Block to anyone. I had a measly $300 return amount and they charged me $190 for 1.25 hours of work. That is $2.53 per minute! Caveat emptor.

I walked into this office and asked for an appointment over the phone I was scheduled for an appointment and the appointment is 11:30 AM waited for a call the tax preparer calls me at 12 o’clock I let her know that you’re 30 minutes late at this point I told her I’ll just reschedule gave her an opportunity to make this thing right she
Asked her for today 12:30pm She told me 12:45pm today waited the time is almost 1 o’clock and she didn’t call again so I called this office and canceled me completely out I want to say that is so unprofessional it’s same to me my business was not important that sure lost in money because it was Business and you could’ve made a nice amount for your pocket in the company never use you again.

Has got to be the single worst experience in my life working with John Wagner and his office. one top of a series of poor events they did not file my taxes for three months after I filed with them. I am not waiting to hear back from the IRS on how much I have to pay in penalties. Do not go here if you value your money.

I made an appointment and dropped off my paperwork and spoke to a tax professional on Wednesday and by Monday the following week I still had not heard anything from them. I called and was told "that's weird, we have no record of your documents being dropped off, call back when you're tax consultant is in in a few hours." I called back twice after and left messages and received no response. I had to go in and wait because they weren't sure what the issue was and why my taxes still had not been filed. I waited over an hour!!! Complete incompetence caused me so much unnecessary stress. I will definitely find a different place next tax season.

I had a confusing financial situation arise last year and I was dreading having to do my taxes. I sought out the help of H&R Block in Austin and was connected with Hong Zhang. She was communicative, patient, efficient and FAST. She made the process easy and painless. I am very thankful for H&R Block and can't say enough great things about the service I received from Hong Zhang. I'll definitely be back next year!
