Very rude a man who attended me, asked me for my residence even when I gave him my real ID. (I'm a citizen) He judged me by my appearance. How disgusting that there are racist staff in this location, because in the others they are very friendly.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the worst customer service banking I've ever had the displeasure if working with.Hire some people please!A business customer shouldn't have to wait over 20 minutes to do a deposit and a change order!

All expenses on the account match. However, my balance never does. I check transactions for 6 to 12 months, all posted, so how are we getting different balances? I believe they are dipping into the initial starting balance and playing with numbers, causing overdraft for customers. When I ask IBC, they can't provide me with an answer. I'm closing my checking account. I've never had any problems with Chase checking. For the past 8 years, Chase and I have balanced to the penny. Beware! IBC is cheating customers!

Do not use this bank ever!!! We have had nothing but problems with this bank. We have bank with this business for several years. We had a substantial amount of deposit it's made. Ever since then, we've had problems. Every two days we have to call and get our card unlocked because they mark everything fraudulent. Keep in mind, they do not call, email or text message to confirm whether it's us or not. Do you know how nerve-racking that is? Especially considering we have a freshman in college thousands of miles away. You know how frustrating it is to get permission to use your own money. Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! This place is extremely unorganized. My Mother was banking there. I am her POA for all forms including durable. She now has dementia and cant recall her email passcodes etc. Of course, this is exactly why we have all the paper in order. Everytime they call they tell me there is no one there in charge and have no branch manager. They put me on hold for 15 mins until I hang up. But more importantly they talk in circles about why I cant have bank statesments. I understand the poa is a process but its been months. I dont want access, I want BANK STATEMENTS for medicaid. Then Medicaid tried to request them, NOPE! We worn let you see how utterly poor ol'mom is so she can be admitted, sorry. I've driven there 2x now to hand them paperwork they said they never rcvd even though I have emails with confirmations of recpts. Bank anywhere but here. Seriously!

I contacted IBC to inquire about a HELOC. The agent I spoke with was at first friendly. Like they all are, at first. However he failed to do his job. He didn't ask any questions, just had me complete the application. As it turns out, I wasn't eligible for the HELOC due to TEXAS law. This was caught only immediately prior to going into underwriting. This SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT prior to even completing the application. This fella was simply too lazy or for whatever other reason, but he didn't do his job of screening applicants prior to submitting an application. Now I have a hard credit inquiry sitting on my report that will be there for two years and it was all for nothing. Had he done his job of screening, that would have been averted. Thus I cannot recommend IBC. If you do attempt to use their services, avoid Aaron like the plague!

I'm very disappointed with this bank. Infeel that since I'm from a small town and there's no more options so I stayed with them. My first disappointment was the high rates when you're abroad. The customer service and professional is almost not existing specially from the older representatives, innSan Antonio and Laredo. I spent over an hour on the phone waiting for assistance and in the actual banks they redirect you to call them.

Need a mortgage? Don’t bother hereunless you have over 4 lines of credit. They won’t tell you this until you are way into your application., wasting a week.

Worst bank to deal with, they don’t truly discuss the details of deposits process and they don’t really help whenever you need the help! Don’t open any type of account here! Stay away from them! We just waiting for everything to clear in order to remove everything from from them!!

I have banked with IBC for over 10 years. It was a much better bank back then but the customer service has never been great. I really only stay out of dimwitted loyalty because it's from Laredo. But I have to say that the Cesar Chavez branch here in Austin is the WORST branch I have ever dealt with which is such a shame because the facility is quite beautiful. But the beautiful experience definitely ends there. I want to echo what many other customers have said, the wait time for a simple deposit through the drive through is ridiculous! 25-30 minutes is unacceptable and they're not that busy! There are usually at least 3 to 4 tellers/employees and on several recent occasions I am watching them from my car and they're carrying on having a great time while me and other cars are sitting there waiting. They will all go into the back room for 3-4 minutes together and leave the entire bank unattended. Deplorable customer service and relations from very incompetent and inefficient employees. They don't respond to these reviews to even apologize or try to make things better. Most of the reviews I've read say the same thing and are from 7 years ago to now! On top of all of this, I tried getting an auto loan thinking that because of all my years of banking here surely I will get a good interest rate and also because my credit is very good, but no they would not consider me for the loan until I found a car and would have to then apply for it. That would take soooo long! The most inefficient systems run this bank. DO NOT BANK AT IBC. I will be closing my account and suggest to anyone that banks here to do the same.
