Branch did not order me a card or checks (according to customer service). Called customer service. Had to go all the way back to this exact branch to "get my debit card". The branch had no info on the card or checks which were ordered (keep in mind this was mid December). Its now almost mid February and I still have no card or checks which were ordered. I do not understand how there can be this much confusion on simple request from a bank, but if you do not want to deal with this type of confusion and delays for simple banking request, pick a different bank.

Drove out here because it was supposed to be the closest location to me, but there is no IBC bank here. It’s an IBM building. This is the bank that came up when I searched for drive thru locations, but there was obviously no drive thru.

Overall, I do not recommend this bank. It has been a hassle adding people to an account to be able to share our funds. Then, I ordered an extra card & hasn't arrived in more than 7 days. Customer service is not available after hours. Well, overall I do not recommend this bank.

This is my experience with IBC since opening the account. Before reading this review I want you to know that everything you’re about to read is true and not exaggerated one bit. Here we go. I went into IBC on Burnet Rd in Austin, TX to open up a bank account being that I was new to Austin at the time, I needed something local. I was helped by a young woman who was in training. I should’ve known this bank was trouble when the guy who was supposed to be shadowing her to make sure she was doing the job correctly was walking around and chatting away with his fellow coworkers. The young woman had to call out to him on multiple occasions to ask for help and when he finally would come by, he would do the task for her then leave again. She wasn’t learning anything this way and lo and behold she screwed up my account! I didn’t notice until the following day that my name was not correct on my debit card which also meant my name on the entire account wasnt correct! (And still isn’t till this day!!!) This of course caused problems on more than one occasion but I will give you an idea of how embarrassing this was: I offered to take out my coworker to lunch and my card was refused due to the incorrect name on the card!!! I was so embarrassed! But that wasn’t the end of it, it was just start! Many times after that my card simply refused to work! Many times I almost ran out of gas or couldn’t buy essentials because this card would not work! I know what you’re thinking “why didn’t you go into the bank to have it fixed?!” I tried!!! Multiple times!!! The bank manager Sylvia always gave me the run around. She never had any real answers to my problems just “sorry’s” and empty promises to fix the problems I was going through. The very last time I went in was when Sylvia replaced my card and she said “don’t worry I’ll make sure you’re not charged for this card because it was our mistake” .... sure enough not only was I charged BUT SHE GAVE ME BACK THE SAME CARD WITH THE SAME INCORRECT NAME!!!! When I tried bringing it to their attention I was hung up on by one of the workers there who has a terrible attitude (the Hispanic guy) (bigger light skin guy is just as bad if not worse) and when I tried calling back they simply did not answer the phone!!! This is no way to treat someone who has their money in your bank!!! Oh I almost forgot to mention that Sylvia gave me her card to reach her personally... you guessed it! She doesn’t even answer the phone! Listen, if you want a bank that values their customers go to a real bank, not this bs DMV-styled-replica-sorry-excuse-for-a-bank. I hope this review has helped you in making a decision on whether or not to do business with IBC. Oh yes!!! One last thing: they don’t have any real customer service! So if your card doesn’t work like mine did during non-business hours, you’re **** out of luck! You’ll have to wait till their branch opens at 8:30am and even then you’ll be lucky to get any customer service from these incompetent people. There’s no 1-800 number to reach anyone at anytime so please keep that in mind when considering IBC. This can be extremely dangerous especially if you’re alone in a city like me with no one to call on in case of an emergency and not having access TO YOUR OWN MONEY can be a very bad thing. What’s the take away? Don’t choose a bank that treats their customers like they’re trash... go with a real bank. Closing my account today!

Burnet for the first time experience trying to deposit a check with a cashiers check and set in the drive through for 15 min. Then rang the bell to talk to a teller and no answer. Then went to walk in and they told me they had to get a manager approval for a cashiers check from another bank. GO NEXT DOOR TO RBFCU LOT LESS HASSEL.

Worst experience ever with a sarcastic, rude Hispanic lady working as a sales representative. Who's name I don't even remember.

On dark and rainy Sunday, I wanted to run an errand before work, so I quickly got out of the rain and made a deposit to my bank. After I left, it dawned on me, I deposited to the wrong bank, IBC. I worried some, but two days later, I see IBC got it over to RBFCU, so I am thankful. IBC didn't have to do this; they want out of their way! Excellent! If you need bank services, consider IBC! Very kind and considerate of you!

Worst bank ever! I opened an account with IBC. A Rep came to our workplace to offer employees a chance to open an account with them. I gave in and opened it as a secondary account for my savings. This was a month before my wedding. I never got a card and was locked out of my online account from day one. A few months pass and i get a call from a debt collector saying my account was closed with IBC due to inactivity because i never used the account. I ended up losing the money i put in and had to PAY money in fees to a account i never used. Not one single call was given to me about my account. Add photos

Usual drive-through window takes 10+ minutes, tellers seem lost and only 1-2 lanes open. Bank somewhere else.

Though this place is never that busy, it takes forever most of the time for even the most simple of transactions

Usually takes forever to make a drive through deposit. Usually never have the lights on at 8 am. Just standing there wasting time. It has been on 3 separate occasions I drive up at 8 am to make a deposit and the lanes are closed. Today I saw a man standing at the front where the customers stand talking on his phone to a teller. I assume well i guess we are making deposits inside the bank now since the lanes are closed. Did I mention I checked the hours first so this was my 1st circle around the bank. Ok the lanes are closed it is 8:07 am, so I drive back to the front and I turn off my car and try to open the doors even though it says lobby 9 am. I see the teller jumps and turns on the lane switch and sits back down to talk to the man. I have to get back In my car to drive back around to the lanes that are open now. On another occasion they tried to keep my drivers license. Giving me attitude cause they are not properly doing their jobs. I only keep this bank cause my family and I use it back home in case of emergencies. I actually have a credit union that helps me. And their lobby opens at 8 am and 7 am for lanes.

Showed up today to make a deposit, only to find out my account had been closed out. I asked how could that be, since it was still active on the mobile app. No answer, just a mind-numbing and mundane "account is closed". Save your time and headache. Go to RBFCU next door, like I did. Much less hassle.
