They refuse to issue change to their customers here. I attempted to make a withdrawal from my account in the form of quarters and they refused and said only businesses can withdraw coins or make change. No other branch has ever told me this. Every other IBC I’ve visited has fulfilled my withdrawal request without issue. I’m not sure if the teller was lying or if they just don’t care about customer service at this branch. It’s the closest branch to me, so now I’m planning on switching banks entirely.

I am greatly surprised any positive reviews exist for IBC Bank. They are not honest when setting up accounts, telling you it will always be 100% fee free (outright lie). In fact, they will charge a monthly maintenance fee and they also want to charge fees for just about every service other banks I use offer at no charge. And if you are convinced to set up a second account so you have a "back up system" to prevent ever having an overdrawn situation, know they will lie about that too and claim that it was never set up that way, even if you had a super long discussion at the branch during account set up to verify how it would work, named it "back up account", and then parked funds in it solely for that purpose. And to add insult to injury, this account for which the whole purpose was leaving a backup system in place will be charged account maintenance fees. For what? They aren't having to do anything with it and wouldn't even do the one thing for which the account was set up. When you call in, rightfully upset and frustrated by the incompetence, dishonesty and theft, the "customer service" people will display absolutely zero empathy, not offer to help in any way needed and will tell you it's your fault (even though you went over the particulars with the person setting up your account AND the branch manager sitting in an office 20 feet away). So somehow it will be your fault that they failed to complete the account set up as discussed/clearly requested. The lack of care is so deeply ingrained that if you are quiet in sad desperation while on the call with them, hoping a few moments of calm will allow them the chance to come up with a solution or at least express concern, they will either simply sit there saying nothing or suggest they should end the call. For all my trouble, this bank has done nothing but treat me poorly and steal funds. In the beginning, I was so swayed by the marketing and lies that I was going to have other family members set up accounts with this bank. Now I am very glad that did not happen so they did not have the chance to steal money from my relatives too. It is my strong recommendation to run away from doing business with this banking operation as quickly as you can or just never start doing business with them.

This bank charges monthly fees for accounts not used in a rolling 90 day period. I deposited money for to save, and they take out $5 per month because I don't do any transactions. That is outrageous.

IBC is the home of my family's vacation funds. We've been banking here for over five years and throughout that time haven't had but one issue (personal, not professional). The best reason to bank here is Derrick. He's the most professional at this branch, hands down. It's really nice to have him welcome me by name every time I go in (as long as he's working). It's a throwback to the past.

The experience provided by this location can either go great or horrible. It always is a bad experience whenever Haritha is there. If others are working at the time you go I highly recommend waiting for them to help you. She only usually wants to help if someone else tells her otherwise her go to is im sorry I can't. I don't understand how everyone else can but she supposedly cant do anything for account holders!! She gives me the same trouble every single time I go in but yet she says she does not remember and I have called the line for Austin IBC who informed me that what she's not willing to do is something done for account holders.
