We have loved having our son enrolled in International Montessori House of Children. Under their care and teaching he has truly blossomed. Can’t recommend this school and its educators enough!!

It's incredible to see an authentic Montessori school in action. The children who go all the way through the program show advanced social-emotional skills in addition to advanced academic work. The teachers are loving and knowledgeable. There is an atmosphere of peace during the children's work time that allows them to concentrate and grow. Teachers here have a deep understanding of the Montessori method and how to apply it in a way that helps children in this school to thrive. It is so refreshing to see a school that diligently works to meet the needs of the children in their care.

The teachers and staff at IMHoC are so kind and knowledgeable in Montessori. IMHoc is attentive to my son, Tom. I cannot say enough good things about this school! We came to this school from another Montessori - I highly recommend.

All about the money. No compassion shown here. The previous owner was a much better and knowledgeable person. The new owner is all about the money. We had our child here for a few weeks. ur son was potty trained but found it difficult to go to the toilet in the school for the first week. Because of this they transferred him to the toddler section from the primary group which we had signed up for. Much better preschools in the area which teach better curriculum. There is no probation period at this school and they don't consider if the child might get used to the school and teachers or it might not work out...They are riding the first in Austin card. Well being first and the oldest does not really matter. Newer schools are doing much better.

My family absolutely love this school. Our almost 5-year-old son has been going to this daycare since he was 2 y.o.Mrs. Ambreen and Mrs. Neela (currently retired) are both beyond fantastic. There’s no doubt that my son loves his teachers and talks about them all the time and it’s truly amazing the things he’s learned since he’s been here. Love of learning, respect for the work they do, peace and manners are instilled and reflected in the eyes of each child. The school director Jennifer is very involved and cares about the wellbeing and safety of our kids and teachers. They've been very effective at following all health protocols for COVID.We’re honored to have our son at International Montessori and see how he’s developing and blooming on his own pace.Huge kudos to all IMHOC team.

Wonderful, warm teachers. I very much appreciate the accessibility of the school’s leadership. Their app for communicating with teachers and administrators is so easy, and they’re all quite responsive. It’s a great community, and my daughter couldn’t be happier.

My daughter that is 2 started IMHOC in the beginning of this year for her very first time in a school setting. The amount of love, compassion, and learning material that she has experienced is more than I can have expected. When my wife and I were looking for a Montessori School we contacted the school within a short period of time the owner Jennifer Weerasuria contacted us and made us feel so welcomed, all of our questions were answered in such a way where we felt like this place was the one for our baby girl. What made this decision easy for us and what caught our eye was how long the Teachers have been there ranging from 3-13 yrs and how peaceful they were. After a short few months Covid-19’ hit, our daughter was offered virtual classes to keep in contact with her teachers and Jennifer went above and beyond to keep a safe environment and clean environment for her IMHOC family. In that time We could see how much IMHOC meant to our daughter always asking to go to school and asking about her friends. I definitely recommend everyone to experience what our daughter has experienced. There’s no better feeling to receive daily pictures on Brightwheel to know what she is doing and how she is progressing. We thank her teachers for having the heart and patience they do to make our day easy.

My daughter attended this school for 4 years, starting at 18 months. The teachers, director and owner are warm and nurturing, and there is very little turnover. They have a large, shaded playground and the kids get plenty of outdoor playtime. We signed my daughter up for some of the extracurricular activities like art and soccer. She enjoyed the classes and it was very convenient to have everything all under one roof. We are sad to be leaving IMHOC for Kindergarten in the fall, but know that my daughter is well prepared socially and academically!

My granddaughter attends IMHOC and I live out of state and visit as often as I can. Hearing she was going to attend school at such a young age I was a little skeptical knowing I was taking care of her since birth. I recently came to visit and all I hear is about what she did in school, how much she loves her teachers and as well as the owner Jennifer Weerasuria. That means a lot to me for her to have a bond with not only her teachers but the owner takes her time and love to connect with the children. I feel that my granddaughter has shown great social skills as well as displaying family oriented skills. I thank IMHOC for caring and having patience for all these little lives. So very great full for Jennifer for making this not just a school but a family and a second home.

I meant to write this review a while back but life has been hectic (sorry its long but I want to give my honest opinion of the school). My daughter started going to IMHOC at 18 months, she is 4 years old now. Transferring her to this school has been the best choice I could've ever made for her. Her teachers are incredible, she is learning a lot, she gets home in the evenings and talks about the different things that she has learned during the day, things I could not have known at 4 years old. She'll have a discussion about the planets in our Solar System, she'll list all the continents, she told me that Alaska was the biggest state (here I am thinking it was Texas, the shame). The big highlight is, she CAN READ, did I mentioned that she's only 4? Not just memorizing pages, she recognizes the words and sounds out the letters. I would've attach a clip to this review but it only allows for pictures. Her current teacher Ms. Ambreen and former teacher Ms Aline are true gems, I could not have been more pleased to have these wonderful women help teach my child everything she knows. I'm mentioning these two ladies because they are/were her primary teachers but Ms Sathya who now helps Ms. Ambreen and all the other teachers that works there are all amazing.Let's talk about Covid, I think the school shut down for about 2 months during the peek of Covid, I can't remember exactly the length of time they were closed, but they resumed operations in mid June I think. My daughter has been back for about 3 months now and they have had no cases. The cleaning regiment and the safety protocol implemented is beyond anything I could've imagined. First, no parent is allowed inside the building, the teachers come outside to get the kids out of the cars, all the teachers wear masks, they spray the bottom of the shoes and sanitize the hands of each child upon entry, backpacks are left outside and sprayed first before being taken inside. At pick up, I either call the school to let them know I am outside or send a text message on their Brightwheel app to let them know I am outside and they bring my daughter to my car. One of the Friday's, I went to pick up my daughter, we were still in the parking lot and all of the parents came and left, we were the only car still in the parking lot. My daughter decided that she needed to use the bathroom and driving home was not feasible without her having an accident, so, we rang the doorbell, Jennifer came and opened the door, she had on gloves and was in the midst of cleaning and sanitizing (she's the CEO), the teachers were wiping down and spraying down the windows and tables. Seeing that, made me realize that although my motivation for sending her was primarily for her mental health, it was even more reassuring to myself that I have made the right choice. Seeing how much effort and time the WHOLE team at IMHOC puts in to make sure that every child was safe, is peace of mind on another level and for that I am grateful, and that's why I will be sending all of my kids to this school until they are too old to attend.

We met Mrs. Jennifer (owner) from a referral from our neighbor and my kids fell in love with her. We transferred from another Montessori school and I could not be happier. Rough drop off's are a thing of the past!! My 5 year old reads, writes, and spells on her own. The community is small and feels like family. I cannot recommend this school is the best kept neighborhood secret. Thank you IMHoC!

This school has been my son's second home for the past 9 months. His developments are very recognizable and I give the credits to his school and teachers. The toddler class teachers are very loving and take very good care of him. Every single day, the teachers take the time to discuss all my questions. The school management is very attentive to all the needs of the kids and parents. We love the school and highly recommend it.

We love IMHOC and recommend it to all of our friends. The teachers are extremely loving and knowledgeable. My daughter's teacher has been teaching for over 30 years! My 4.5 yr old has been attending this school since she was 2 and looks forward to school every day. We pick her up with a big smile on her face and hugs for all of her teachers. We are always amazed at the lessons and skills she's learning and think this school has truly prepared her for kindergarten next year.
