I took an order to clean my shirts and shoes. I had shown the shoes and what needed to be polished. order was ready on Friday. Upon pick up I was unhappy with the shoes, I was told by Rene, manager, to pay and pick them up and come back on Monday to speak with shoe person. Apparently, nothing else can be done with shoes (which is not what they said when I left my shoes for cleaning). I asked for a refund as I wasn't happy and manager, Rene, said no and that nothing could be done. I would never have paid to begin since I wasn't happy from the start. this is BAD customer service. I'm disputing charge through credit card and will put in a bad review. take my business elsewhere.

Rude and condescending desk attendant - they have an "I could careless what you think" attitude at Jack Brown Cleaners. Find another dry cleaner!

JB offers three levels of starch for clothing. Light, medium, and heavy, not to mention no starch. I ask for HEAVEY ( which should be able to stand up by their self once it builds up) for a reason and used to get years ago but over the last few years I think this is how they have adjusted. Light starch is no starch, medium starch is either light to no starch, heavy starch is light to medium starch at best. I was told this morning at JB that this is what they provide as heavy starch. Piss poor customer service is what this is. i will be finding me a better place that actually provides you what you are paying for.

Wish I had read the other reviews earlier. Jack Brown Cleaners literally ruined my brand new crochet top!!! I purchased the shirt 2 weeks ago and had worn it only once. I bought it in for a cleaning as I had gotten makeup on the collar. When I went to pick it up I was absolutely shocked to find not only was the makeup still on the shirt but parts of the crochet were broken. This was a $400 shirt! When I pointed out the damage I was told a district manager would call me. They never did so four days later I went back to the store and was told I would now have to fill out a claim report and would not be able to take the shirt back and they would only reimburse me for a fraction of the value of the shirt even though I have the dated receipt for the purchase of the shirt. Horrible service!! They also did not refund me for the cost of the dry cleaning of the now damaged shirt.

The Seamstress and her husband do absolutely wonderful work and are so accommodating. I needed a last minute repair on a particularly difficult item, a very high end leather skirt with a split seem. She made time for me as I explained to her it was a rush job and she worked some serious magic in 20 minutes or less. It was like the tear never happened. Looked brand new. And it only cost ~$13. Couldn’t have had a better experience.Service: Alterations

I continue to use this cleaners for several reasons: 1. Service, 2. Location, 3. No problems.

DON'T GO HERE if you value your clothing and your time! This Northland Drive branch of Jack Brown used to be excellent! Now, it's HORRIBLE. In the past three months, every time I've gotten back laundry or cleaning, there's an issue: no starch, wrinkled, odors, lost pieces. The last time I was there, I was charged for someone else's order of at least 10 pieces. I realized this when I got home and had to make another trip back to return the items. My bill still hasn't been adjusted. They've also lost my express bag twice and have not replace the last one. On a couple occasions, I arrived and there was no desk staff present. I walked in and waited for 10 minutes or so. The cash registers were unattended, the lobby area was a mess (clothes thrown everywhere: floor, counters, bins), the finished rack looked half full and the back was a ghost town. Finally the woman who called herself a manager sauntered in. She was the person I'd seen outside on the corner, smoking a cigarette and talking on her phone. It pains me that JB has fallen so low in service and quality. Did they sell the business? I have no confidence that anything I'd bring them would be returned or not damaged. I know COVID blah, blah, blah... but to fall so low and so fast is appalling. I'd give then no stars if I could. NEVER going back. it used to be excellent. Helpful staff, very responsive to specific laundry instructions (e.g., starch, heavy) the former front staff (two women) were wonderful! They'd see me drive in and have my cleaning in hand to put in my car. Never lost anything. Loved them so much, gave Christmas present to them every year. The place was always bustling with full crews in the back pressing and washing and dry cleaning. A perfect 10--

When they couldn't do a simple stain removal the only responce from this part time cashier was "we don't Guarantee anything".When I mentioned that the stain looked No different, meaning it didn't even look like that attempted to clean it, without a blink or a care in the world, her emotionless response was "we don't guarantee anything". Wouldn't even reduce the cleaning cost for not doing the job at hand

I am stationed at Camp mabry, there used to be a dry cleaners right outside of the maintenance gate on 35th street... They shut down about a year ago, and I started going to Rick's cleaners which is in my neighborhood in round rock. Every since the COVID Pandemic, Rick's cleaners hours have been sporadic at best, so on my way to work I had my dry cleaning in the car and decided to stop at Jack Brown's cleaners which is a block from the base. This cleaners has been there for years, I just had never been, it was a drive up, they come to your car they take your clothes out, they give you a ticket they text you when they're done and you drive away... I didn't know what to do with myself, when I got it the car and the lady told me I didn't need to do that. So I just got back in the car like a scolded child. And when they were done, you just go back and they bring them to your car. (Have the always done this) I had no clue that they even had a Jack Brown's that did this or any cleaners for that matter. Talk about spoiled.... now I have a new dry cleaners, thank you.

Well all I can say is when you try to call and talk to somebody they turn their phone off so you can't get a hold of them to see if they can take care of business that you need done
