I had an amazing experience with Javis Auto Sales in Austin. After taking my 2023 Kia Rio to the South Austin Kia dealership for a routine service, my AC suddenly stopped working just two days later. I’m not necessarily blaming the dealership, but the timing was strange — and when I went back to them, they told me the repair would cost thousands of dollars and could take months and that i’d have to file it through the insurance.. As a college student who doesn’t even live in Austin, that simply wasn’t an option.
I went to Javis because my dad always takes his car there and his work vehicles there. They looked at my car right away, figured out the problem, and had it fixed in just one day and less than two hours if i might add. and for less than half of what the dealership quoted me. Their honesty and efficiency honestly blew me away. I left feeling like they genuinely cared about helping me instead of trying to upsell or scare me into a repair.
If you want fast, reliable, and trustworthy service, I highly recommend Javis Auto Sales. They saved me so much time, stress, and money. I’m incredibly grateful!

I was directed to this shop by an employee at autozone. I called and they told me to come right in, as soon as we arrived they took my truck in. Super friendly and great customer service.highly recommend ! I’m so glad I found this place, it will be my mechanic shop from now on. Thank you Javis Auto!

Tldl: not a paid or a incentivised review in any way. Don't overthink. Just take your car there. Let them have a look. They'll take care of you! I had an inspection and a brake change done, they gave me reliable advice both the times and did the job in a timely and non-rip off manner (unlike a lot of other big businesses). They have my business as long as im in Austin!

I had a slow leak in my tire that turned out to be a valve stem issue. I brought my car to Javi’s Auto on South Congress and they took care of it quickly and professionally. The service was absolutely exemplary—honest, straightforward, and efficient. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can really trust, but Javi and his team truly go above and beyond. I highly recommend them for anyone in Austin looking for reliable, friendly, and affordable auto repair.

FAST and friendly service. I had my A/C compressor replaced by them. It was done in less than 3 1/2 hours. I will be going back whenever I have repairs that need to be done.

Javi and his team are incredible. This is a family owned business with all the talent of a dealership without the heavy price tag. Everyone is great to work with. All kind and knowledgeable. I’ve trusted them with my car, and anyone who’s has a car, for a few years now. I recommend them to anybody and everybody. They are so helpful explaining different options for repair. They also have a huge selection of cars ready to own on the lot. They look out for you like family here. That keeps me (and everyone I send to them) around as a loyal client. Very happy with the service at Javi’s! I had my car engine serviced elsewhere and javi and his team saw the shortcuts they did and helped me get back on the road. They’re very communicative and explained what was wrong.

I originally intended to go to another business for my emissions test, but their line was too long. I remembered Javi’s in my neighborhood and gave them a call. They can do your emissions tests for registration renewals and it’s quick and painless!
Their staff is very friendly and the customer service was great. The testing went smoothly, the price was right, and the experience was stress free.
While waiting for the scan to complete I learned they are a family owned and run business as well, even better!
I recommend Javi’s, whether it’s an inspection or a tune up or heavier work!

One of the most honest, informed, and professional locations in Austin . Javi's took my vehicle and within a day or two, had diagnosed it, repaired it, and got it back on the road in no time. They took the time to explain to me what their process was, showed me changed parts, and took me on a test ride to explain the difference. Huge shout out to their crew - a family run business that doesn't disappoint, only provides results.
