The whole place looked like a hurricane hit it...20 min into opening when I arrived on a Thursday (so it obviously wasn't tidy the night before). An employee I approached who was on her phone didn't want to help me and tried to shoo me away. Other store employees were on their phones and unattentive to customers.
Their was pricing signage on the floor, floor littered with clothes, shelves held unfolded and strewn merch.

It’s kinda frustrating when you ask for a simple gift receipt and the cashier says its on the bag and of course its not. Associate ending 0507 shame on you, if you don’t like your job then find somewhere else to do sooo!

I ordered shampoo and conditioner set to pick up from this location. Pulled them out the box and the shampoo bottle is so dirty and missing at least 1/3 of product. Obviously it was a return that had been used. I would thik twice before ordering any salon items for pick up from this location.
EDIT: I just smelled it and it smells like someone filled it with different shampoo and returned it.
I can't believe I paid so much money for such bad quality control. I can't even return it because I have to catch a flight in the morning.
When I call no one answers in any department.

I'm a huge fan of JC Penny's. I am not sure if this location is set to be closed, but the merchandise was nonexistent. The staff was very unfriendly or helpful.

First of all I would like to say on record, I'm deeply disappointed 😞 in this Store 2884 Tech Ridge I worked at this store for 35 years and Retired in 2020.
I still like to shop in store and online..
My issue is in the store I feel that the employees( Cashier's) are not Costumer Service Friendly
Never a hello or hi
Never a Smile
Never a Thank you
Nothing Like when I was working there
Everytime I go in it's the same associates, I can give names but I will not.......
My experience today was my breaking point,
I have never been so unwelcomed and felt like i was bothering them with a simple thing of adding money to a gift card to complete my online order 🙃
The cashier walked away and said nothing after another associate finished the transaction and their was another associate a young man standing there looking 😳 and said nothing as well.
This is not the first time I have experience bad CustomerService from them,, but I didn't say anything but today was was my day to say something
