Jeff is very professional and courteous he give you his word he stick by his word. I recommend anybody that need to get the top done convertible to contact Jeff at this location. He’s very very good at what he does. I recommend. I highly recommend him to everybody.

My 2000 Miata’s top needed a replacement. I thought about DIY, but quickly realized I didn’t have the skill or patience. Searching through the Austin Miata groups, I heard about this shop.
I called them for a quote, and it was lower than every other shop around. They told me to buy a Robbins top, which I ordered myself and brought to the shop.
They took a couple of hours to get my car ready and it was a really pleasant transaction.
They don’t take credit card, so cash or check only. Which is usually a problem for me, but Jeff is so amazing, I didn’t mind doing it.
I 1000% recommend them. They are fast, very professional, and fair pricing.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET A CONVERTIBLE TOP PUT ON IN AUSTIN!! Jeff is a great guy & an excellent craftsman with years of experience. My '66 Corvair came from San Diego with only threads of a top still hanging on! After being on a waiting list for a genuine replacement for eight months one finally arrived .. and Jeff made that installation a thing of beauty. I HIGHLY recommend JIMS TOP SHOP to everyone wanting a good experience and excellent installation.

Chipped the paint on my 1987 Corvette convertible. They do business with Austin Corvette next door. I mentioned the chip and they kept blowing me off. It’s been over a year and nothing was ever done.Also, the top wasn’t installed correctly resulting in the back glass of the top being damaged once put up.

Outstanding craftsmanship at an unbeatable price!!! If you are an old car person like I am, you are probably tired of getting ripped off by self-important restoration shops that are nothing more than expensive disappointments. Don't bother with those losers. If your classic ride needs a top, Jim's is the only place to stop!!!
