This company sets up plans allowing employers to control employees retirement accounts and employees can only ask for funds. Which can be denied by employer legally.
If you call reps o. Phone they have no clue what they are talking about the just say call play administrator (which is your employer)
Companies should choose of companies to handle 401k plans.

Would have given this as zero stars if I could. I have a policy with them and when I call for help logging into my own account, no one can find my policy. So far, I have called 4 times, spoken to 4 different people, given my contact info INCLUDING my SSN, and no one can find my policy. Oh, and the info is always wrong when you ask them to repeat it back. Don't get a policy with John Hancock!

Website is consistently down app has glitches and way below industry standards 99.9 system uptime. App is slow and unresponsive. Get a better team.

Did get a response from John Hancock still waiting been 5 days so far, no longer receive statements on my pension or 401 investment.

on hold for 1 hour and 19 minutes never got to speak to anybody I did the dishes I clean the toilets I cook supper during that time
