All of the staff was kind and knowledgeable. They have a relaxing waiting area and I definitely felt welcome and taken care of! They went above and beyond to be sure I was taken care of as well as my car!

Took my car in for an oil change and to have a look over since I was nearing 90k miles. Got a report that it needed 4k in repairs for various things. I've gone to Juke for years with amazing service but I'm sad to say something has changed. I let them do the work and what a mistake that was. Once I got the call my car was ready it felt off when I pulled out of the parking lot and by the time I got home it was smoking! They got a flatbed truck to tow it back to them and gave me some lame excuse that the mechanic spilled some fluid and that's what the smell is, although they couldn't smell it. Months later and it still smells every time I pull into my garage. Do yourself a favor and find another mechanic.

paid them to change my oil and they just replaced the sticker and didn't change it. my oil light came on soon after and i definitely don't have a leak...don't give them ur business. go somewhere else.

The staff here are as talented as they are diverse, with the tattooed customer service quirks I cherish most from being a California car guy.The location is clean, repair bays nearly at sci-fi levels.As a tech dude (the good IT kind I swear), I enjoyed the online interface details of what work needed to be done, and select priority options vs repair later. Sal was very responsive and walked through the report details and notes of the mechanics which was quite helpful.Thanks again for the fast service, Challenger is running like a dream again, 2013 with 100k miles no less.As far as I'm concerned, this is my primary shop now.Services: Electrical repair

Juke always does such a great job servicing my car! The staff is always friendly and they give a home-town feeling to a large auto shop. They always communicate what is going on and also have given me a heads up on future maintenance work required and the associated costs.Service: Oil change

While I did recently get an oil change, my experience with my recent oil change is similar to my experiences over the past 2 years. I like the idea of Juke Auto and it's a nice facility, but from my personal experience, the service is not what I expect from an establishment like Juke Auto.Your website touts "Smiling Faces" and "Quality Service" when you come into Juke Auto. Not my experience. When I walk in the front area at my appointment time to check in and drop my car off, there are two service advisors who both just look at me and say nothing. I'm not sure which one to go to, and neither one provides guidance. It's weird and awkward. The one I picked on my most recent visit was not smiling and generally unpleasant to interact with...she couldn't wait to get back to her social media on her phone, which she did immediately after telling me to fill out the info sheet. I handed it back to her and asked about a shuttle...when I asked for a ballpark timeline, she initially answered "I don't know, probably over an hour." Then she said she could ask to confirm, and when she did, it was significantly less than an hour. Because of how the experience had gone so far, I decided to just get an Uber.The previous time I came in for an oil change, when I left, I immediately heard a sound coming from my engine that was not there before. I immediately called Juke Auto to let them know, and the service advisor was suspicious at best of my claims...but I knew there was a new noise. He told me to bring it in the next morning and he would take a look. When I got home I decided to troubleshoot myself, and turns out, the cover/latch for the air filter had not been re-secured after Juke had performed their multi-point inspection. No harm no foul in general, but the attitude from the service advisor is not what you'd expect from an establishment who touts "Quality Service" on their website.Also, I've never received a proactive call from Juke when my car is ready. I've always called them and magically, the service advisor tells me "you're car just finished up."I imagine this review won't really do anything, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's obvious that employees are not generally happy, which is sad. Gave you two stars because my engine still works, so I guess that's a plus. Also the lounge they have is nice, which is good, because if you decide to wait, you'll be there a while. I know that the car repair business may be stressful for the employees, just don't pretend to be something you're not.

I really hate doing this - my first couple of experiences with them were good. They're competent mechanics, nice shop, nice people. But last few times I've been there have been absurdly priced and frankly, getting premium pricing for sub-premium work. And, they weren't nice about it either. My car has been sitting for a year and admittedly needs some mechanical work. The battery died - I towed the car to them. First, there was the charge for the hefty diagnosis fee (there's a hefty diagnosis fee on everything here). And then they said I needed an alternator (I doubted that very much), 850 dollars, and a new battery and that just the battery alone would cost 600 dollars and they said they both have to be replaced together. I called them up because I couldn't believe it. Their answer was "well it's a BMW - you're welcome to get a second opinion". I've owned BMWs for nearly 20 years and never paid no 600 bucks for a battery. So yeah, I did. The other shop diagnosed the issue, replaced the battery, diagnosed another problem, fixed that, all for under 300. The alternator is just fine - did not need to be replaced at all. Frankly, I would have been better off going to the dealer. So yeah, 1 star. Sorry to report. Beware.

Was very excited to bring my vehicle in. I saw the reviews and thought this would be a good shop. After asking for a diagnostic they wanted around $170 per issue to look into. I ended up paying $400 for them to tell me I had over $3k work to be done on my vehicle. I decided to do the work myself and it only cost me $900 on parts and tools. I feel like these prices were a little excessive. For example the shop wanted $900 for front breaks and disk replacement. $300 parts and 1 hour job myself. I never write reviews but these prices seem a little out of touch.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Thorough, genuine, transparent- I had a very positive experience at Juke and definitely recommend. The high level of professionalism is clear and the support I've received leaves me feeling informed and confident in their ability to provide excellent service.Updates are given regularly and explained with an efficient and detailed report of current issues, proposed repairs, pictures, and information on the cars health. Charles took great care of me and was available to further break down the process in a friendly and non judgmental way. I am pleased and grateful to all at Juke for wonderful customer and repair service, and trust them with the future care of my car

I found the great reviews online in 3 different locations about JUKE AUTO in AUSTIN. I took my daughters car there and was impressed with the experience, all the way around. The car needed some all around work , due to its age. I chose off their recommendations, my desired choices. I had the car ready to drive in 24 hours, which included some ordered parts! Very efficient place! Professional and great Customer Service! Oh! They also gave me a ride back to my daughters after I dropped off the car! Take your car there! Honestly, don’t hesitate! Sadly seems the reviews are true. Very polite, kind folks who will happily overcharge you. Called Juke bout a blown tire.They told me tire would cost 407 bucks to order and install. And take minimum a full day. They said tire itself was 350. Googled tire. Costs 220 bucks most everywhere.Dealership itself did it for 290 bucks. In three hours.These people will rip you off and smile to your face. Terrible.

Great service here. Got an appointment for my Honda and they made the process so easy. My car was at 100k miles so I brought it in for an inspection. They sent me what needed to get done, and each service was detailed with price, comments on the service needed, and photos. I loved that there wasn't any pressure to get things done and just the overall transparency of my service was awesome! It's been a month since my service and my car is running so smoothly. I'll be coming back here for my future car needs.
