Wow, so great. Plenty of options, but not overwhelming. Super friendly staff and cute decor inside. I had the Southwest Salad for brunch and was very happy with it ??

This is the original spot and it is outstanding. The food is delicious and super clean and I want to eat half the things on the menu every time I'm here. This time I ate the Texas Benedict and a gluten-free blueberry pancake. Delicious. The staff here is also exceptional and very friendly and also seem to love the food.

We went on a Friday morning at 9:30am. We were seated outside by another family that had already received their food. By 9:45, we hadn’t seen a waiter. We went inside and told the person who seated us, yet at 10:00, we had still not been waited on. We left.

Kerbey Lane has a fine selection of breakfast and lunch meals since the 1970's. If you like delicious pancakes, this is the place. Great coffee too.

Super cute all-day brekkie joint. Parking is off-site, and possibly around the corner on the street, but wasn’t too bad for a downtown location.Robust menu, lively atmosphere, and friendly service. The biggest issue is the restroom situation…there are two single-stall restrooms for this entire place. After ordering, I proceeded to the restroom to wash my hands and waited in excess of 15+ minutes, as both were occupied. There was no line…After finally getting to use the restroom to wash my hands, I returned to the table to cold food with congealed sauce and toppings on my beignet pancakes; cold, hard eggs; and a skin had formed on the gravy with the biscuits and gravy. Our server had seen me standing in line, so after a few minutes of no one checking to see if we were all enjoying our food, I tracked our server down and asked if they wouldn’t mind warming up or remaking my food. Not sure if it was microwaved or not, but it came back worse than it had been prior to them taking it. The skin on the gravy was thicker, the gravy cold under the skin; the eggs were harder and more like hard-boiled eggs; the drizzle on the pancakes had become crusty and cracked.Waiting an hour to then wait twice more — once for the restroom, and once for rubbery food was definitely not my expectation for an experience. With so many other amazing brekkie places in the vicinity, we definitely won’t be back.

Delicious, friendly service, and quaint atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars on food as our entrees were excellent, but we had a side chocolate chip pancake that was hard to find more than 5 or 6 chips, which made it a bit of a let down compared to the rest. Overall, 5 stars and would go again.

This adorable cafe is a military favorite due to its close proximity to the historic Camp Mabry Austin base as well as its love of pancakes from the service members. Parking is purely street but plenty of it. You don’t have to worry about paid street parking here. So that’s a relief. Upon walking in, everything is made of wood with the walls being covered in Austin inspired art by local artists. The lighting is indoor lighting so not very bright but bright enough to where you can make out the food and faces of those your enjoying your meal with. The wait staff is very attentive. This place gets packed in the morning because their breakfast items are all from scratch and packed full of flavor. I had gotten their buttermilk pancake platter which featured 2 thick and hearty buttermilk pancakes, a sausage and 2 eggs over easy! The butter milk pancakes were truly the main character of this meal! Absolutely can tasted the caramelized butter that has melted throughout each pancake. Just a hint of cinnamon made these classic cakes go over the top! I ate every last bite of my meal! I’ll be back for another round but I’ll try their cinnamon bun pancakes next!!!! Can’t wait!
