Sales people were extremely rude. What made me go inside was a pair of pants I saw on the window display but unfortunately they were $700!!!! They were just a plain pair of pants cute for Spring but not at that price. I found out that that was the average price for pants at this place. All the clothes weren't that interesting, they were very bland & boring for this price....very disappointed especially with the rude sales people

So if an item is not available, I figured the client / customer will be made aware of and not have to wait to find out when the package arrives. I ordered 3 items, package arrives and there's only 2. I sent email to customer service and nothing until I called and was told the item was not available. That is when I was offered a refund but absolutely no apology or no courtesy. All customers need to be treated the same when that amount of money is being spent. This action is ridiculous!

Kick Pleat is one of my very favorite boutiques to visit when I am in Austin. The curated styles, helpful and friendly sales people (SHOUT OUT to Chase!) and interesting brands make this place such a gem. I have purchased all of my Marla Aaron jewelry here and have found all my favorite brands. Thank you Kick Pleat for making fashion so fun!

The fashion lines that owner , Wendi Koletar, brings are always trend setting and ahead of the curve… I have purchased many an item for the female love interest in my life at the time from the store and it never ever disappoints… Plus it has such a local Austin feel. Don’t come here looking for bargains but then again in life you get what you pay for and I’m always very pleased with everything in the bag that comes from Kickpleat.

Was provided with a 15% off code for an ANNTIAN dress I had been eyeing for some time and, before purchasing, called the store to inquire about the best way to coordinate a pick up as I live in Austin. The person I spoke with told me the code was a mistake and they would not honor the price. Strange way to do business considering most other boutiques carry the same dress for $50 less.

Love this shop and staff. Beautifully styled clothing lines by global fashion designers. Collections are colorful with unique appointments and quality fabrics. Worth the $$$.

Georgeous clothing and a great stable of both established and upcoming designers. Stores of this caliber and price point usually fail terribly at 1) stocking a range of sizes and 2) employing truly welcoming, nonjudgmental staff -- both of which Kickpleat does wonderfully. By far my favorite boutique in Austin.

The hot/cold customer service continues at this boutique with one sales girl friendly and helpful and the other cold and silent. As for the clothing, the word "designer" does not always translate to good taste/functional clothing/ or worth the price. However, most of the pieces in this boutique are unique and very well made in relation to material/style/tailoring. 80% of the styles in this boutique were ones that could be worn for special events, work, & even weekends when you want to wear something luxurious or of just great quality. Shoes were just okay as most were "off" styles that looked either too plain to warrant the $300+ price tag or caricaturist looking. Costume jewelry options leaned towards the heavy chunky side on my visit and although definitely beautiful pieces, why pay $300+ towards a piece of costume when one can put that towards a Lagos/Yurman/Coin piece instead? My rating of 2 stars is because most of the styles were geared towards model tall & thin which leaves the bulk of the population out and this obvious intentionality comes across as a veneer of exclusivity founded on nothing substantial.

I don't live in Austin, but I am a devotee of Kick Pleat. I will drive three hours just to visit the store. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive without being overbearing. The collection of clothing is curated to perfection. A wide range of designers are available, and the staff is expert at assisting in putting an outfit together that is uniquely you. Every piece from Kick Pleat is polished and refined. Perfection!

I've read the reviews and hopefully my insight will be helpful as well. I recently purchased a pair of pants from Kick Pleat and had a great experience. I drive an old car ( cars depreciate in value and are not an investment for me) and went into the store wearing my work out clothes. The sales agent I spoke with on the phone recognized my voice and name and guided me with a genuine smile to the pants and was helpful when I had a few questions about the fit and stretch. She even showed me the same pants in the other colors and the other material. While we were talking, I saw another sales rep with a great set of pants on and asked for the name and the other rep, the buyer, and the sales rep that was helping me were all helpful in answering my questions about the pants. They only person that I noticed a "interesting" look from was the model that they were taking photos of and I paid her no attention because the people I happened to be dealing with were great!

This is edited cause i cannot reply to the owner, so this is my response. First of all you never even asked me if i would be shopping or coming in your store, based on the kind of ratty car i was driving at that time. You were rude and condescending, you obviously assumed since i am in an old car that i couldnt come in your store. Just because i wasnt giving you money, you didnt have to be nice about it. Every person that enters your business property is a customer, and affects your business. Hopefully the world teaches you a kinder hand some how. My husband works next door, i am there literally all the time. I had been wanting to look in your store bbut the reviews told me i couldn't afford it. But i still wanted to look. It sounded so chic. But i no longer would like to look in this store. It scares me. posted on an old account a long time ago, when i was pregnant and told to leave the parking lot if i wasnt gonna be shopping there. Revisiting the issue seeing as not one person from the store cared to apologize for what happened or even look into the incident. Great customer service yall. Just lovely! You cant have over priced clothes and terrible service ethics too. Rude as hell, no wonder no one is ever in yalls parking lot, you tell them to leave if they have a not so nice looking car! Snobby and uncaring. Ill never recommend this place, in fact I'll unrecommend it to everyone i know.

The woman who works here just came out and threatened to tow my friend and I. Little did she know we were there to shop and just waiting for another friend to show up. Not a good look considering the past 2 stores that have been in this location have shut down.
