Krystal Shaw was referred to me to help sell my Austin Property and all I can say is I was blown away! Krystal went above and beyond on all aspect of the selling journey. I am an out of state investor and Krystal helped provide me with many exiting options, backed up with numbers. Recently my boyfriend and I decided we were ready to buy our first place. Neither of us knew much about the process, and to be honest, we had a lot of anxiety going into the search because Austin is known as a competitive market. But we were referred to Krystal by friends who saw success working with her, and I'm so thankful we were. Krystal is a super competent, intuitive, and experienced agent. She knows Austin, and she got to know us in order to help us find a place that we loved. (Spoiler alert: We did!). She guided us through every step of the process, making something that at first felt overwhelming to me no big deal. I recommend her to anyone who's looking for a home in Austin!

I had a fantastic experience with Krystal as my realtor. We found a great house within the first week of working with her, and she advised me on how to bid with the most likely chance of a quick turnaround. She was completely right, and we were under contract within a couple days of the initial offer. I highly recommend hiring Krystal and following her advice!

Krystal is an amazing realtor, and I highly recommend her! She is kind, patient, responsive and down to earth - all the qualities we were looking for as first time homebuyers. She was never pushy and aggressive like some other realtors we met, but always provided a strong guiding hand in the difficult process of homebuying. It's a stressful time financially in trying to find the perfect place, but Krystal was patient and listened to our needs and wants and answered all our questions. As a seasoned realtor, she was also able to keep us calm and reassure us that everything was moving as expected. She was our advocate and fought for us throughout the process. We were so lucky to have her in our court!

We're seriously still not sure how she did it, but Krystal get things done. In this crazy market she was able win us a bid (the listing agent praised her responsiveness, which also helped secure the deal and pick us over a very similar offer) and was even able to negotiate for us, which we never thought would be possible.As first time homebuyers, we were so lucky to have Krystal in our corner and let her point out and take care of things we would have never thought of. She is super responsive, always available to discuss last minute contracts and her attention to detail is so much better than ours would have ever been.We also appreciated her realness, she got our hopes up at the right times and let us know what would work, what was reasonable and what not. She really listened and was never pushy about anything. If anything, she might have been even more picky than we were!Thank you again Krystal, we're so happy with our new place but so sad not to be working with you anymore (for now).

We met Krystal around October 2020 over a virtual Zoom call. From the get-go we could tell she was very genuine and going to be great to partner with. Throughout our home buying process, Krystal was informative, insightful and patient as we expanded our search location, debated purchasing new construction or not, got declined on a couple of initial offers and navigated the crazy Austin-area housing market during the pandemic. When the time was right, we landed a home that we absolutely love. We decided to purchase a new construction home and it's been about 6 months since we moved in. Thank you Krystal!

Krystal was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! She helped answer so many of my partner's and my questions as first-time home buyers and walked us through the entire process. She noticed issues with some houses that even the sellers' agents hadn't, and got us into the top 2 bids consistently with every home we chose to bid on in a *very* tough market. Even when our lender switched loan officers within the last two weeks, Krystal worked tirelessly to make sure that we closed on the perfect home on time. Even a year after we purchased our home, she has still stayed in contact with us. I couldn't have asked for a better agent!

Imagine bringing your sister to negotiate for you, that is what it is like working with her...We relocated to Austin from Los Angeles, and we had never been to Texas ever before! I had an opportunity to relocate within my company so I started asking around, and my co-worker recommended talking with Krystal.Krystal called me and we talked about setting up a time to visit, eat breakfast tacos, and discuss what we were looking for in a new construction home. We set a date to meet up in Austin, and my wife and I booked our flight.Krystal met us with tons of information and gave us a Google Maps overlay with restaurants, attractions, and most importantly, communities that fit our criteria. Once we narrowed down our selection, Krystal became our voice and a firm hand in dealing with the builders. She has been there throughout the process, from negotiating, walking through to make sure everything was up to par, to closing, and beyond.Not being physically there, we really needed someone we could trust with clear lines of communication who understood our needs and expectations. Krystal is an absolute rockstar! I cannot recommend her enough. Krystal was extremely professional, friendly and responsive. She did an excellent job keeping my husband and I informed and educated through the sometimes confusing process of buying a home for the first time. She has earned our trust and loyalty. Krystal was referred to us by a friend who purchased their first home with her. His recommendations came very high and he couldn't say enough good things about her. We had already picked out our new home and need an agent to help guide us through the process and negotiate on our behalf. We purchased a brand-new DR Horton home in Pflugerville, TX and as much as she tried negotiating, they weren't willing to budge on their pricing as Austin is a hot market right now. During the building process, Krystal followed up countless times with the builder on his weekly emails and met me a few time at the house when I was in town. She absolutely went above and beyond when it came time to closing. Due to some work travel and the home not being ready, I was closing several weeks past the original closing date. Not only did Krystal negotiate for the builder to pay my mortgage rate lock extension fee, she managed to get them to install FREE BLINDS! A very nice surprise and only happened because of her constant follow up and professionalism with the builder. When it came time to close, my flight got delayed by a day and she flawlessly moved everything ahead one day. I'm sure it was no easy task, but to us, she made it all seamless to us. She gave us a personalized gift basket that included stuff for the whole family including the dogs. The best part was finding out she donated part of her commission to a charity of our choice in our name. Thank you to Krystal and Roots Real Estate for helping pets of Pflugerville. She makes the home buying process so simple, very quick with her responses and cares more about her clients than earning a paycheck.
