When I booked the hotel my reservation, the hotel looked great in pictures but when arrived, it truly disappointed me. Location was convenient since it is right by the freeway however there were roaches in the room and it was truly disgusting. The staff was friendly and courteous but the rooms don't smell super clean and as I mentioned above, the room had roaches. I would not recommend to stay here nor would book ever again. Not a pleasant experience.

AVOID THIS LA QUINTA. I've stayed a lot of La Quintas and some have been wonderful and beyond my expectations. In this case I was given a room with a door entry secured by duct tape and with no internal bolt or chain. The management offered no apology and would not check me out or refund my stay even though I had booked direct via Wyndham i had to contact Wyndham to sort things out. This hotel should not be included as part of the La Quinta hotel network.

During our stay here everything started out merely OKAY. When walking into the room we did the usual inspection it was sort of dingy and dreary but nothing seriously wrong. We got a really off vibe from the staff and the people staying here, they all looked at you very sideways and seemed very shady. The first elevator was clearly being worked on because it had some serious defects but when I walked up to get on the other elevator the man working on it dropped all his tools and ignored the fact that he was literally in the middle of fixing something and said oh no use it it’s fine(I absolutely did NOT do that). Not to mention when we first arrived someone literally OPENED our door not knocked but opened the door and only couldn’t get in because we had the extra pull out lock pulled out. We left out and when we got back it smelled like someone sprayed in the room while we were gone and my mother works in the cleaning industry so she said it smells like the sprayed for bugs SO THEY KNEW. The first sign of bugs was when we went to shower and I’m not sure what it was but we killed it and moved on. The second sign was when I woke up literally ITCHING with a large lump on my thumb but I tried again to brush it off as something else. Later on after another outing we began to see something crawling up the dresser by the TV and then it went away. Then we further inspected as it crawled back out and it was a roach so we tried to grab some hairspray and spray it, but then we saw another one crawling up the side of the dresser crawling towards our bag, so we tried to spray that one, and by that time we were fed up, so we moved the bags away and called down to the helpdesk where they sent up, not even a cleaner, but they sent up a security guard with the general manager. He inspected the room further and found the roach underneath the bag rack turned to us and said oh yes, that’s a roach, pushed the rack back and walked out of the room so we look at him wondering why he took no action. The woman asked us if we wanted to move rooms and we think to ourselves no because if they were in one room, then they would be in another room. She then tries to offer us 50% to move us into another roach infested room and we just cannot have that. We began to get insanely fed up at this point, so we argue back-and-forth until she offered a full refund in return for us checking out and I said we will take it and we will go sleep in the car. Not to mention, the general manager tried to lie to us, and say, the man did not come in the room and spray earlier, when she knew he did, because she knew that they had roaches. Upon going downstairs she tries to scam us out of our refund by trying to collect our information and send us on our way without any proof of refund and by this time we know better because the reviews have said that they have been scammed out of refunds before. The security guard comes around the corner in a very hostile tone, and he’s yelling and telling us that we’re not making anything better trying to buck up with us as if he’s going to harm us so we got on high alert and start calling family and police. so then he starts asking for unneeded information like addresses and talks about he’s gonna call his people on us threatening that they’ll harm us so we said we’re gonna call our people on him. So we proceeded to call the police and wait for the proof of the refund to be shown and then he gets in the car as soon as we get in the car visibly watching us and seemingly waiting for us to leave mind you why is he even leaving so abruptly on the clock it was shady. By this time I have read reviews about people getting assaulted in this parking lot so I further felt very threatened in that moment. I am going to end this up by saying never ever ever SPEND your money here ever do not go to this very unsafe area, and if you do don’t go alone, don’t go unprotected, and if you’re able to be licensed don’t go unarmed. These people will TRY you and they had the right ones that night.

There was tons of misinformation provided to me. When I called about an early check in I was advised there was no charge but when I got there for an early check in, I was advised it would be an additional $25. And to top it off, the room wasn’t ready. The front office staff was not friendly. I witnessed two guests ask one of the front desk clerks where the lobby restrooms were and instead of answering the guests, the clerk just pointed in the direction of the restrooms. Customer service is clearly lacking.Additionally, the sofa bed was plastic, cracking and peeling. The wooden table looked like it was splintering off. The room I booked was to have a balcony and the room I got did not have it.The hotel only has one ice machine and it was broken on the day I was there. The area that the hotel is in is sketchy and the hotel rooms, themselves, are dated. There are lots of homeless people in the area.

Came into town for the Austin gp, unfortunately I was not familiar with this area. Multiple homeless outside, one man managee to get in to have some breakfast. Service was fine no complaints but there was bed bugs in both rooms that we booked. I would say if you are from out of town avoid this area and this hotel.

The management here was absolutely terrible. I know people don’t believe this but I have never experienced racism so blatantly. My fiancé and I stayed for 4 days and nights. We never caused a problem or treated any of the employees with disrespect even though we were treated with disrespect. The only employees that were kind to us were Stefanie who was a housekeeper and the security guard at night. Besides that the whole staff needs to be trained on what hospitality means. Especially being in the industry they are in. It was disgusting how they treated us and I wouldn’t wish that kind of thing on my worst enemy. Like I said the only people that this doesn’t apply to is Stefanie, security guard and whoever makes the biscuits for breakfast. I highly recommend that if you are white to not stay at this place. You will be treated unfairly. This behavior is unacceptable and comes from the top of management Vianey Cervantes (general manager). It was like being in high school with the whispers, snooty looks and literally different policies applied to us about their S.O.P. They decided when and where to apply policies and procedures to try and make it to where we couldn’t stay. We had been there 3 nights already when we checked out. After going to enjoy our stay in Austin and deciding that the way we were treated wasn’t acceptable. We booked a room through Priceline which they pick the hotel for a reduced rate but don’t tell us which hotel until we booked. Unfortunately we were booked at this place again. Like I said after not being required to put a deposit down the night before all of a sudden they wanted us to put a $50 deposit down. Well unfortunately I wasn’t getting my paycheck until the next day so I didn’t have that amount. Not only did they not let us check in but wouldn’t refund us or even allow us to stay in the lobby while we reached out to family and friends to help us with the deposit. So my fiancée and I were forced to sit outside in the parking lot for hours until 4 am when the security guard begged the front desk to allow us to go to our room because he was concerned for our safety in that part of town. Thankfully we were not mugged or robbed. So now after being allowed in our room at 4 am leaving only 7 hours until we had to check out the gm was at our door at 10:50 am 10 minutes prior to checkout to escort us out of the room. She stood at the door while my fiancé tried to get dressed which I thought was very inappropriate. It was the worst feeling being judged like that and hopefully the regional management will take action because in this day and age it is unacceptable to treat paying customers like that. Especially when I spent well over a weeks salary at this establishment. Also we still have not received our deposit almost a week later after being told we would be receiving it.

Just checked in and this place is horrible. Carpets throughout are torn, stained and look to still be damp from water damage. The air is also damp and fetid, worsened by windows that don't open. Furnishings look as though they came from Goodwill, and from the parking lot you can even see mold on curtains. Location is terrible, with fwy interchanges nearly overhead. The area is filthy and isn't even walkable. Did I mention there's a funeral home adjacent to the property?Sadly, cancellations require 24-hour notice by 6pm, so I'll be sleeping on top of the bed on the blanket I brought for my dog (yes, it's that bad). Run, don't walk away from this one.

I went to Austin on business and decided to stay here . I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the location close to downtown and the beds were very comfortable. Whenever I go back , I will probably stay here again.

Very basic La Quinta. It is not in a nice area, multiple homeless people outside and in the lobby at times. The rooms seemed clean enough, but the hotel common spaces had a dinginess about it that made us feel a little iffy.Breakfast is exactly what you would expect. Overall, if you need an inexpensive or short stay, it'll be fine, which was exactly what we needed.Nearby activities: Very close to downtown, FC austin stadium, and UTSafety: Not a great end of town and a lot of homeless people loitering.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast

So lets talk about the outside... there are homeless people outside smoking during the day and asleep in the lobby at night. There is a black Maserati parked AT the main entrance with people smoking and selling maybe not so legal "items". At night there are street walkers close by. But there is a pool. The main guy checking people in is condescending and rude. The rooms are okay. The water pressure and temperature needs to be address. The elevator passed inspection and makes lots of weird noises. I am glad I only stayed one night. Last but not least the breakfast.... just spend the extra few bucks and go out to eat.

I did check out today morning and I wasn’t satisfied about the services. In the morning, when I wanted to take the shower, the water was completely cold and the reception told me that she will ask the maintainers to fix it! I came back to my room, but she told me that the maintainer does not work today!! I had a very important appointment with someone and I had to go without taking a shower! I asked her to inform her manager that I was not satisfied with the hotel services, but no action!!

The young lady that checked us in was amazing! When I checked in on Friday 8/18, I checked my bank account to make sure everything ran smoothly. I saw that they had charged me 3 rooms and 3 security deposits even though I only booked 2 rooms. I thought it might have been a mistake and that the extra charged will be dropped. I checked my bank account today 8/21 and the extra room charge dropped but not the extra deposit charge it went thorugh. I called the get the extra charge refunded and the lady that answered said that on their end it is only showing 2 $50 deposits which were refunded yesterday. She sent me the paperwork which showed those 2 deposits refunded. Great! But I still have that extra $50 deposit charge. I called back and again explained how there is a 3rd charge I need refunded and again she said she is only showing 2. I then emailed them a screenshot of my credit card charges that showed that they in fact did charge me 3 deposits instead of 2. I called back and again she said its not showing on her end and again I said it might not show on your end but it is showing on mine. She was rude and I am not the one so I was rude back. She said that it's basically not their problem that I need to contact my bank to get refunded. She wanted to put me on hold for a manager but at this point if you are telling me this isn't a La Quinta issue and to contact my bank why would I speak with the manager. She said okay and hung up on me and you could hear when she slammed the phone. The fact that now I have to wait 90 days for my bank to dispute what was clearly a La Quinta mistake is ridiculous.

If I could do a ZERO star I would!!!Not from this area. The pictures are beyond misleading this area is VERY dangerous. I checked in and the staff was rude and overcharged me for 3 nights. I instantly went in my room and found 3 bed bugs on top of the bed and 3 babies in the sheets (I always check mattresses before unpacking). I Instantly said after showing the staff who didn’t care the pictures and they said they’d refund me.Come to find out they double charged me and never refunded me for any of the stay. They charged me for 2 full nights when I didn’t even stay 10 minutes.I was lied to by 3 night audits and the head manager. This also had fleas all over the place, I almost was assaulted in the parking lot 3 times while looking for a hotel room that would help after this horrendous place not only made me sick but triggered PTSD that’s been documented so everyone knows what this place did.The staff is disgusting, the rooms are awful. There’s bugs all over the parking lot. DO NOT STAY HERE! They will lie and take your money and promise it in return for a good review.Still waiting on the case to go through since they still won’t remove the charge.Theft is theft??♂️Thankfully another hotel reported them and gave me a place to stay for the night. This place has been reported to the BBB and I am hoping they shut down due to the health dept. who’s also been notified.Just don’t waste your money.Rooms: Disgusting.Dirty linens, bed bugs.Fleas.Safety: NOT SAFE!!!!

I loved this hotel. The rooms were very clean and spotless. The breakfast was amazing too. But the lady who was in charge of swapping out the food kept giving us a stank face. Other than that, I loved it.

We thought we had a great stay at this new La Quinta. Beautiful space. We were however charged $50 for supposed blood stains on the sheets. I don't feel like I should have to explain this, but there is sincerely no way there were blood stains on the sheets. We will not be staying again. Looking for a hotel that has integrity and doesn't look for an opportunity to steal money from customers.
