So juicy. Pastor, barbacoa, and asada all great. Brisket isn't the best but great with the lime. Campechano also fantastic. Pastor might be their best. However I think they put onion on the asada. Asked no onion and still had it anyway. About $3 a taco. Not a fan of the lengua.

Las Trancas is everything I need and want from a taco truck. Efficient service, didn’t have to wait long for our order. Plenty of seating and lighting if you’re going for late night munchies. Easy to find parking in the lot or on the side street.Tacos are super flavourful, meat is tender, good portions overall. Tried the flour and corn tortillas and both are great. They fry the corn tortillas a bit. Flour tortillas are soft and chewy.Favourites: Lengua and tripa. Wow I wish I could take that lengua home with me. It was so supple and buttery. Don’t tell my mom, but I think it’s softer than the one she makes. Tripa is crispy. Love the contrast of textures between the two.Barbacoa was good, but not a standout. Brisket was a tad on the dry side. Maybe it was the time of night since we’ve only gone after 10pm.They provide two types of salsas, lime, and packaged salt with the tacos. Didn’t need the salt personally. Lime and mild salsa (red) was lovely. The other salsa was proper spicy ?️Spent $22 after tip for 6 tacos. We came back for more a different night and food quality was consistent. Will definitely make a stop here again next time I’m in Austin.Parking: Parking lot to the right of the taco truck. Also parking on the side street.

This is the crispiest Al pastor I’ve ever had. It was incredible. I still think about how crisp it was. The barbacoa was also really good. These are fire tacos. I would 100% come back again.

I had the campechana tacos and birria and barbacoa. The only one that was good and flavorful was the campechana. The chicken was so nasty it had a bad smell and had no flavor. I fed the chicken taco to the birds. The barbacoa was lacking flavor also. Also they charge extra if you pay with credit card and they don’t let you know.

We heard about the amazing tacos as Las Trancas and had to make a stop to try them. They lived up to the hype!!We tried a ton of options, the kids loved the chorizo, but I’ve never had a better taco de lengua! Some of the tacos can be spicy (which we love) but you may want to ask if you have trouble with the heat.We got there at 12ish on a weekday and it wasn’t super crowded but it got that way by 1pm. Not a lot of parking options so you may have to find street parking and walk some- there are a few handicap spots available. It’s a taco stand but there is plenty of seating! However only 1/2 of the seating is covered. It may get pretty hot in the summer (but it’s still work grabbing tacos and taking to go). I believe I saw that they are part of a few delivery apps as well.Vegetarian options: They do have a veggie taco option- but only one. Along with a bean & cheese taco option.

Literally some of the best quesadilla and tacos I’ve ever had. My husband and I were blown away with the flavor, simplicity yet perfection. Wish I lived nearby, would come here at least once a week!?
