This is a must experience when in Austin. If you lucky you get to view the many, many turtles as well. It was So much fun!

What a unique, fun and informative activity! I highly recommend this "must see" here in Austin, and Lone Star Kayak Tours delivered. Our guide JT was personable and really into bats so it was such a fun experience. His passion for the event itself was contagious! The kayaking up the river is a great way to view the Austin Skyline both before and after dark. The whole experience is totally worth it. You can hear the bats as you get close to the bridge and watching them stream across the skies over your head, indescribable, so cool! JT was the perfect guide, our group of strangers became friends on the water and we all had a really good time.NOTE: it's 2+ hours with no access to a bathroom, be prepared! Lol

Great time kayaking on Ladybird. Mitchell was our guide for the 2 hours and we were lucky to be his only 2 guests. Saw turtle and since it was August we could hear the bats under the congress bridge. It was a great way to spend time outdoors in the August heat. #lonestarkayaking

Great afternoon on the lake with Mitchell as our guide. Great way to stay cool on these hot Austin days. We even were lucky to be Mitchell's only 2 guests! We were here in August and were able to hear the bats under congress bridge. Recommend to others! Thank you for the amazing tour.

I took the bat kayak tour- it was amazing! Our guides TJ and Mitch were awesome! Very friendly and easy to talk to, great teachers on how to paddle (not for the faint of heart), and professional in all of it! I highly recommend this tour and these two guys are amazing

This was one of the best kayak tours we've ever taken - And we've been taking tours for 15-20 years. Ryan was an exceptional guide and his knowledge of Austin history and architecture was unbelievable. Our additional guide, Reid, was affable and friendly as well. Lady Bird lake was nice to kayak on as there is not a strong current and the surroundings were gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We booked the 9am paddle board tour on fairly short notice. We were contacted and told our group was not large enough for a standalone tour, but could join a 10am kayak tour and still do SUPs, which we opted to do. JT has a lot of enthusiasm and optimism for the state of and direction of Austin's growth and nature. He was very helpful when I fell off my board, twice! Tip for glasses wearers: grab a retainer leash with a floater on the back. You can grab them at most outdoor stores.
