They are always honest, on target and have lower prices than any compared. Thier work is top notch and they are able to give a reliable time on when they can service your auto/ and when it will be ready. They also have some gems....when it comes to buying solid used cars. I’ve been coming here for years after getting overcharged by the dealership for “maintenance” & repairs. Don is thorough, honest and a trustworthy professional. I’m never worried about being up-charged or doing unnecessary work to my suv. Also, i love that I can call and usually schedule to bring my vehicle in within a day or two depending on my needs. Highly recommend!

I've been here a few times, customer service and communication is great! The mechanic service has troubleshooted a couple issues and provided fixes to keep my Lexus running smoothly. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently had my power steering rack replaced at this shop, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. I made an appointment and dropped my car off on time, and they got the job done the same day.
Don was professional and efficient, offering a very reasonable price without any haggling. Their customer service is top-notch, and they genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend this shop for any auto repair needs. Great job!

Though many previous reviews seemed to sing their praises, I had a strange experience with them. I had to schedule out weeks in advance for a simple diagnostic (understandable, as mechanics are busy in Austin) but when I dropped my car off on a Friday there was no assurance or guarantee for when they would be done looking it over. It was only when I called in on the following Monday and stressed that I needed to pick up the car the next day that they seemed to get started on checking it out.
They managed to diagnose one issue, but didnt really give me an answer on others. To fix one of the issues it seemed it would be a costly repair--but from the way they spoke, it seemed that even if I was willing to pay, they seemed unwilling to do it.
Overall I left underwhelmed by their lack of communication, and also left with the feeling that they either did not want to work on my car or were too busy to work on my car. Disappointing, considering all the stellar previous reviews. :/

Don is honest and won't rip you off. He gives you options and he really knows his stuff. Been going to Luu's for 15+ years. They are hands down the best. They've done simple spark plugs replacement to more complex transmission replacement. Always been happy with the repairs.
