Didn’t fix all the issues. I returned the car they worked on because I was still having a problem with it starting. So, I was on my second attempt and after a few days they called and said they couldn’t reproduce the problem. Great, I wish that was the case for me! Waste of time.

I went to a quick change station for a flush and fill brake fluid. The so called mechanics did something to my brakes where they did not function correctly. I went to M E Gene Johnson Garage and explain the problem. They listened, and told me they would take care of the problem. These guys are professional, caring and work in a very efficient manner. I have been to them in the past and have no complaints. They fixed my car and I feel much better. They have my recommendation.

I seriously love and trust this place. They are the sweetest and kindest people. I originally choose to come here because it was local and family owned.
One day, my tire had a complete flat, and was rushing to take my dog to the vet. And they were the kindest and helped me out and determined the tire needed to be patched up. They weren’t able to do that themselves but were about to change my tire for free.
They’re always doing something like that, and I truly appreciate them for that!

Excellent owners and workers. I can't say enough about this business. We were flying to Oregon for a vacation. We drove from out of town to the Austin airport. We had a very early flight, so we were staying at an airport hotel. We arrived at the hotel and went in to register. When we returned to our car to park it in long term parking, it wouldn't start. We called AAA expecting it to be the battery. It wasn't. They asked us which business to tow it to. We are not from Austin. We had no idea. They recommended ME Gene Garage. We said ok. It was a holiday weekend so our car sat on the garage lot for 3 days. We called them from Oregon and explained the situation. They said they would check it out and stay in touch. They were so honest and through. They fixed it and kept it safe until we returned. I wish I lived in Austin because they would be our new mechanic. They have 2 locations....find one and use them.

I would just like to say how impressed I am with this outfit they have been forthright and honest throughout my whole experience with them I had always heard good things about them and this is the first time I took my car to be repair after I had a nightmare of an experience with another repair shop with a national presence... (M---s) they even estimated a repair that I was fine with and then called me to stay it didn't need i$750 difference on my bill I will never take my car anywhere else in the future and would refer them to any of my friends that need car repair for an experience like I had thank you Gene Johnson automotive
