My 2001 Silverado was in Matinez Auto Repair, and they did an excellent job of fixing my no-start issue.
Turned out to be my in-tank fuel pump. Daniel and his team kept me informed as they replaced the bad pump, changed my fuel filter, and cleaned my fuel system including injectors! They completed the work in a reasonable amount of time and charged me a fair price!
After my recent experience with a chain-owned mechanic shop, who wanted to replace everything, including my spare tire it's a relief to find an honest group of professionals in Austin Texas.
Not only did I get my beloved pickup truck fixed but have found an independent and honest mechanic with Marinez Auto.

This place charged me for a state inspection, but didn’t submit it to the system. I then called back to ask why I couldn’t get my car registered, and they gave me attitude and said to come get it inspected again. I shouldn’t have to come in twice and pay twice for a simple inspection. They also performed an AC service for over 300 dollars and my AC wasn’t blowing cold when I left the parking lot. This place sucks.

Awesomeness. Literally saved my life, albeit a small issue. Had an appointment at the VA. Got low tire pressure sensor on my way to appointment. Got out and checked at the VA and found a nail or metal object. Drove down the street and the owner took care of it while I had took a Lyft back to the VA for my appointment.
