Juan is on of the best masseuse in the Austin area. Having both cancer and Parkinson's, he is a huge positive in my health care. I would recommend Juan (at the Massage Envy/Arbor Walk) to anyone! He is attentive, helpful and always in a good mood!

If you're just looking to pay for and receive a massage, they're fine. Nothing special.Whatever you do, DON'T let them talk you into a membership/subscription. They'll gladly take your money. What they won't do is willingly stop taking it. Ever.Everything they can do to make it hard to cancel, they do. Every dirty trick in the book. Want to put your membership on hold? That'll be $20/month.They use the same sort of tactics that have resulted in class-action lawsuits against unscrupulous health clubs, but they've learned how to avoid being sued: they make you sign away the right to sue them upfront.I'd rather go to a mafia-owned establishment that to ever give these guys my money again.

The guy at the front desk is super helpful and friendly. I came in with a lot of questions and appointment requests and they accommodate me to their tight schedule. I got my first facial here with GRACE. Phenomenal job! This whole team makes me want to renew my policy ! Great job guys ñ.

The “massage” was dismal. Just felt like she rubbed lotion in even though i requested medium pressure. The facial with Kelly was good. Had a surprise at check out, the price was way higher than quoted. I would recommend going somewhere else

We parked in the handicapped space to go to another business. A Massage Envy employee - a white man with poorly done dreadlocks - was smoking in front of the business and pacing between the Massage Envy door and the neighboring restaurant. Having a passenger with poor health, we couldn't exit the vehicle until he finished his cigarette and finally went back inside. I can't imagine getting a massage from someone who reeks of cigarettes. And I gotta say, having an employee with culturally appropriated hair stinking up the storefront is right up there with having a steaming pile of poo on your welcome mat to greet customers. It's gross on several levels.

My original review was from 5 years ago and was 4 stars. I've been coming here for over 10 years, but I stayed way too long because the therapists I had were amazing. Too bad the company is anywhere as good.

I got the membership and later realized I don't have time to be going so I called to cancel it. The lady told me they would call me to confirm cancelation and never received a call. They took out the payment again this month after I called to cancel. I called again and this time they told me that I am not allowed to cancel my membership. So now I am going to continue to pay for a membership I don't even use. That is clearly not right.

I got facial, and it burned the skin on chin. It took weeks to heal. Never again.

While I absolutely adored the aesthetician who came out to answer my questions about all my allergies and my masseuse, who was great in deep tissue, I am torn by the fact that I am unable to purchase any of the products IN STORE and devote them to a customary facial. Thus, I can not receive a facial becuase I am ALLERGIC to their pre-selected products in their backshelf. How does that help me? In no form at all. I was trying to get a facial AND raise their product sales but noooo...... apparently the intellect isn't there for management. The staff at the front desk is superb ? and it made complete sense with everyone there. ? just not upper management . ? go figure . Their loss, not mine.

I’ve been a member for years at Massage Envy at the Arbor Walk. It’s is not what it used to be. The current massage therapist I see is good but the atmosphere, front staff (lack of) is lacking in spa customer service skills. It is just not a friendly, true spa experience anymore. So many people have left and it almost feels like other robot/corporate like businesses. Even when you call now you get routed to a call center. So impersonal.

I would have given a 5 because I have have had a great experience here, but on my last visit after using all my credits I was surprised by an additional charge. I had a 90 minute facial thinking that I was good and AFTER my session I was told that my credit didn’t cover the 90 minutes. I had to pay an additional $25 unknowingly. I was told that I would be done using all my accumulated credits but not that it wouldn’t cover the 90 minutes. I would have just booked an hour had I known.Besides that, the staff is always friendly. Jorden helped me book several appointments and was very kind and patient. Tommy is a sweetheart and very helpful. And if you want a relaxing gentle facial, Sophie is amazing! Definitely recommend!Just be sure you’re aware of additional costs.

I would give them a zero star rating if available. I used to love having a membership at Massage envy and did for over 10 years. Now they never have appointments available, no location can provide deep tissue, poor customer service, and refusal to cancel the membership.

Don’t sign up for their monthly plans.1 year and I’ve only used it 4 times. They never answer the phones for appointments, their online appointments app sucks and nothing is ever available.1 year, $70.00 a monthAnd they can’t provide a basic service like answer the phone or return a call. That’s for all locations.

I would give ZERO stars if possible. I called for an appointment, they said Sunday was open. When I said we had gift cards for a massage, .... they then turned me over to someone else, who said there were no openings until August 18th. It is July 15th today. Needless to say. I hung up. I feel like they do not care whether we ever use the PAID FOR present that is so INCONVENIENT for themThey aren't worth going to
