DO NOT SIGN A MATHESON CONTRACTMatheson has become an unbearable disaster in the last couple of years. We've been using them for over 15 years.We were continually being charged for return tanks that they have already picked up. We finally cancelled that account after they refused to refund the money.The Liquid Nitrogen service is even worse, costs have skyrocketed as service has deteriorated, the drivers continually left the valves open allowing N2 to leak out after filing the tank. No refunds for that. They said they had 24 hours to come close the valve and we have to pay for the lost nitrogen.The other very questionable practice is that we have to take their word for how much LN2 they are putting in the tank, when I go look at the gauge after a fill, it is consistently 5% lower than the reading on the dial. I've documented this a few times with time stamped photos and security camera recording of the truck filling the tank.I suggest everyone do the same.

We recently switched to Matheson for our liquid nitrogen needs. We just had the tank refilled for the third time. Our experience with Matheson has been spectacular. The staff and drivers are friendly and deliveries have always been on time. Great job and many thanks!

Very poor service. I am guessing the company pays the Austin local office staff poorly, so they does not really care for its customers. I had with this company for liquid nitrogen supply for 3 years now, 8 of 10 they will never delivered the goods on time, simply they just go by random or whatsoever.On the delivery day, I keep calling for delivery time, they simply don't have an answer. Come on, it is 21 century, we are in digital age, why such a simple logistic task can not be tracked in real time. Lots of opportunity for improvement, Matheson Trigas!

It was the cheapest option I found for a CO2 tank refill. No issues with them, it went fine.

If I had the option to give zero, I would. This has got to be the most aggravating and insulting vendor to ever work with. I have ordered Co2 gas from this company for years. I normally only need the tanks for 1 day. I give them a drop off and pick up time. They pick the tanks up, send me an invoice that is way more than the quote, we pay and then a month later they send me another invoice claiming we still have the tanks. They do this every single time I order. I have even personally brought the tanks back myself and they still would send a bill saying they never received the tanks. Total scam. Total thieves. I am surprised they are not all in prison. Or are they?

It's been a disappointment to deal with this company's communication. Trying to get a hold of someone for three months now and every-time answer is same, we will give you a call back. And never got a call back. They will still keep sending invoices! Now trying to terminate relationship with them and same situation! We will give you a call back! I mean come on guys!

I'm a hobbyist welder and, I've done business in the past with Matheson just because when i called around they seem to have the best prices in town. I did have an issue with one of their bottles of argon, however the customer service was outstanding. I know I've cost this company more than they've made off of my business and I guess I feel guilty for that. All the people at this Matheson have been friendly and helpful, these guys have gone above and beyond to help me.
