Steve, the manager, was very informative and helpful about my brake issues. There was excellent communication about parts, price and completion time. I appreciate that he took time with me to discuss all my issues. The repairs were completed timely and economically and I picked up my vehicle with a smile on my face.

I was parked across the street from this auto service shop. My battery died so I felt lucky to be so close to an automotive service center. I crossed Congress and asked to borrow a tool to take out my old battery and bring that battery to the shop to buy a replacement. "No one here would ever loan out their tools" . . I asked if someone could come across the street to remove the battery, "our insurance won't allow our employees to work off shop property" "you will have to have it towed". I ask if he could help me hire a tow truck, "if you could find someone who could b available" so somewhat sarcastically I said if I could get it to roll down the recline of the driveway to the parking lot maybe I could push it across Congress and get it parked on the shop property, he answered , , "you could push it". He didn't give a darn.

I had shocks replaced here and one of them was installed incorrectly. Bolt came loose and it did about 800$ worth of damage! I've been coming here for 12 years, because I live next door. When it was McSpadens, the owners and front office folks were friendly and courteous. That's not the case anymore. Their prices have gone way up, friendliness and quality of work have gone way down. So needless to say I won't return.

STAY AWAY FROM THE PLACE!!!!! I took my car there because there was ONE small nail in a tire. After leaving my car at the shop, they called within 30 minutes and informed me there were two holes in me tire; one small hole a larger hole from a bigger nail. They informed me of their “do not patch two holes” company policy and, essentially, forced me into buying two tires. Before you continue reading, please know my first college degree is in high performance motorsports. I know what I’m actually talking about. I would have patched my tire if I had the equipment to do so.After paying for their rip-off service, I asked to see the tire with TWO holes. I started following the front desk guy out to the shop and I was quickly told “you’re not allowed out here”. I put my hands up and stood at the doorway. The front desk guy and the technician brought the tire to me…. Wait for it… wait for it… there was only ONE small nail in the tire. SHOCKER.AVOID this business! It’s places like Lamb’s (who recently changed their name… go figure) who give auto car repair businesses a bad reputation!!!!To make the situation worse, they called me and told me a bunch of suspension items need to be replaced. I declined because a different shop told me two weeks ago my car has been well cared for when they changed my oil. They told me this after performing a thorough inspection of my car.And by the way, the front desk person should be fired immediately. He was rude and disgruntled… Guess I would be too if I have to lie and cheat people for money every day.Service: Tires

Vehicle in for state inspection. Was informed of an oil leak and would repair and do state inspection for 243.72 total. I agreed to the repair cost & work. Showed a Holiday special promotion I received on email about a 10 % discount on service work. Was told had to show printed coupon and inform at the beginning when the vehicle was brought in. Did not honor the promotion.Signed the invoice and paid with credit card.Thanked the person and left. Please do not send any more promotions that your employees won’t honor. It’s a waste of time and awkward to bring up and not worth arguing over.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Team was helpful and able to get our company’s truck in and out quickly after a roadside hazard punctured a fuel tank. They had us back on the road a day later. Thank you!

Quick and easy oil change. The front desk was very respectful and I got a very honest vibe from them. Also had a coupon that they easily honored. Must print-out. Will be going back.Service: Oil change

Had an issue with my car not driving right. Called them and they got me in line quick. Texted updates on the issues and gave a fair price estimate. Only took a couple hours and got my car running like new again. Will go to them again if I have anymore issues.Services: Wheel alignment

I brought in my vehicle, thinking the worst, and working with West Peterson, he not only reassured me of the repair process, but informed an educated me throughout. I’m definitely going back to Lambs for the great experience I had.

If I lived in Austin, this would be my go to place for repairs. Steven and his crew took great care of my vehicle, so do yourself a favor and give them a call! Super fast tire rotation.

They left one of the screws that bolts the intake manifold cover onto the block almost all the way unscrewed, and I’m pretty sure they left something in the “on” position all weekend while they had my truck so that the Optima battery, which I’d purchased less than a year ago(and is guaranteed to last three years, at least) was completely dead when they returned it to me…if I could give them 0 stars, I would. I’ll never be going back there again.Services: Engine repair

Not satisfied with this location since it has changed ownership.Went in for troubleshooting thudding noises from front end and wanted steering and suspension checked. Was given a quote for troubleshooting and agreed. Received call from business saying it was my tires and they needed replaced but their cost was too high and I refused replacement. Was then given a higher quote (approx. $8.00 more) for the troubleshooting. Arrived to pickup car and received a higher quote for the troubleshooting. Another $9.00 increase in just a few hours. Approx $17.00 more than original quote. When I tried to pay with CASH they couldn’t accept it because they said the bank wouldn’t give them any change! This didn’t make much sense but at this point I just needed the car.Paid the cost, got better tires elsewhere and saved approx. $300.Won’t be going back.
