Rating revised from 2 stars to 4 stars as appreciation and respect for Brooke calling to offer a sincere, thorough apology after my unpleasant experience described below.
I previously lived at Mesa Verde as a resident for 2 1/2 years, and returned today as a guest of a current resident.
Original review below, from Nov 15 2024:
Everyone who works at the leasing office is rude. None of the 4 ladies working there seem to understand or believe in genuine friendliness. When you walk into the leasing office, you are made to feel like you are interrupting and bothering a library study group. Fake, minimal effort pleasantries.
Long ago, warm, friendly people worked at Mesa Verde.

Always a pleasure. Ladies are delightful and so sweet. The game nights and movie nights are truly so much fun, and I love how quickly they get things taken care of, if they are broken.

Acts of theft and vandalism have gone up in the last six months. I left downtown Austin to get away from that - false advertising here. Their gates don’t stay closed.

Updated review due to resolution.
I had a slew of issues, but I think these were unit-dependent as I have friends who currently live here, and their units did not have the issues present at mine. Unfortunately, the problems with my unit posed safety concerns (scorpions, bath tub not ready at move in and other pests) that impacted my quality of life beyond decency. It took several months of back-and-forth to find a solution. I would've provided a higher rating had it been resolved quickly.
On the positive side, the front staff, including Mya and Malin, were accommodating and prompt. The maintenance team is also super cordial and friendly. Same with the assistant manager.
You'd need to tour your unit and consider structural concerns, but this location is excellent, and everyone I met, including neighbors, has been super friendly.

Great location with the best pricing you can find in the domain area. They have great amenities my pups love the dog wash.

I got robbed when I lived here. A Robber broke into my apartment through balcony door. I lived on first floor.
Robbers stole a $2000 tv. The apartment manager let me moved to 2nd floor unit.

My experience here at Mesa Verde has been wonderful. The location is amazing, literally within walking distance of the domain. The community is beautiful and I love, love the fitness center! The team here is very kind and helpful, any question or concern I’ve had is taken care of promptly. Gabrielle has been such a huge help, especially since I moved from out of state. She made the move in process seamless, and has helped me every step of the way. I am so happy to call Mesa Verde my home!!

I love these apartments. The office staff is always friendly. The assistant manager has been very helpful. I had an issue with key, and maintenance came within minutes to resolve the issue.

I recently moved into Mesa Verde and I have to say, the moving experience has been fantastic!
The staff is truly exceptional-always friendly and willing to help. Maintenance is impressively quick at addressing any issues, my requests were resolved in no time at all.
Gabrielle, who has been an absolute lifesaver during my move-in process, answered all my questions promptly and made everything seamless. I couldn't have asked for a better support! Overall, I'm happy with my choice to live here and highly recommend this complex!

My experience at this apartment has been one of the worst I've ever had. The walls in the apartment are paper thin and you can hear everything the neighbors are doing. I've had some strange experiences at this place and nothing was done about it. The neighbors below me would constantly be switching and would make lots of noise. They would also have lots of sex and nothing was done about the noise complaints. In addition to this I had personal things that I was talking about within my apartment being spread at my workplace.

We've been living at Mesa Verde since February 2023 and so far, it's been perfect!!!. The staff members are great and caring even when it comes to issues and concerns. They're all so caring about you and your family, Especially Gabrielle!! I wouldn’t have moved here if it wasn’t for her and the level of service she provided me. The staff organize and host some amazing events/gatherings for residents which is really nice and sweet of them. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I truly hope the good vibes and great teamwork continue! 10 out of 10!!

Mesa Verde is a hidden gem in Austin. I lived here the last two years and it’s been a wonderful experience.
To start off, the location is fantastic - probably a 1 minute drive to the domain and maybe 15 minutes walking. You get to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping of the domain without living in the hustle and bustle. You’re a 10-15 minute drive downtown with no traffic.
Next, the property is very aesthetically pleasing and peaceful. Despite being close to the highway it is like an oasis of trees. This really helps during the hot summers. Taking walks around the property in the evening is great and they even have miles of hiking trails in the back that are surprisingly nice. Everything is well kept and incredibly clean. Amenities are fantastic.
Management has been a pleasure to work with. After my first lease I wanted to transfer units and they were more than helpful with facilitating this and answering all my questions.
The only con I have is that insulation isn’t the best and you’ll notice this a lot during the winter, but luckily the units have wood burning fireplaces.
Everyone is nice here and it has a charm that modern apartments lack. I’m very lucky and happy to call this place home.

Absolutely satisfied with the whole staff and my new home. Everyone has been so friendly & welcoming, so excited to be here for a good while. The whole complex and office is so clean and well kept, big plus!! The area is also so convenient! If only i could give 100 stars 😀
