Highly recommended if you want some subversive suggestions! Love the vibe. More places like this are needed.

Cool space! I didn't stay for very long but I found a couple things that I liked including a calvin and hobbes comic and some poetry. It's pay by donation and I also grabbed a couple free stickers so I paid about $10.

I like a bookstore that's chocked FULL of reading material both in number and variety. All I got were a couple messy shelves and the place reeked of cat urine. I love old book smell, not hoarder house smell.

A small bookstore with a collection of anarchist and marxist literature. We picked up a rare and interesting book here.

Not open during hours when it says it’ll be open.Asking workers at stores next door, it sounded like this is pretty standard for them. The workers and volunteers probably should read the “No Masters, No Flakes” section of Dean Spades “Mutual Aid”

Not what I expected. A lot of good reviews, but really underwhelming. Don’t waste your time

Great place to go if you're interested in social justice and its impact on local and global communities. There are tons of zines available, too, if that sort of thing is your bag.Staff was very chill and helpful.

A so-called anarchy store that forces people to violate the ultimate human right... To keep the only 2 people in the store (employees) safe. But this was told to me after one of the employees came back in from a smoke break right outside the door. Hahahaha. This world is insane!

It's a nice little shop with left-leaning books. Service is unpredictable but that's because it's all volunteer-run. They have their own little niche and their own rules, and it's funny that some people are offended by it. If you don't like it, you can go get books at plenty of other "normal" book stores. Half Price Books is right down the street. But I think some people would rather just complain online than actually buy or read a book...
