I had an amazing experience with Dr. Juprusert and his team. My surgery went incredibly well, and I felt confident and cared for every step of the way. The staff has been so helpful and kind throughout the entire process—especially Sarah, who went above and beyond to answer my questions every time I called in. I had a gastric sleeve revision and S.A.D.I. procedure with Dr. Sashi Ganta in December 2024, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the outstanding care I received. When I went to Dr. Ganta more than a decade ago for a lap band, I told him my goal was to lose weight so that my recently born niece and nephews wouldn't remember their uncle being too big to get off the couch. I'm happy to say he delivered on his promise and helped me lose 200+ pounds and keep them off ever since. My babies don't know what their uncle was like before Bariatric Surgery and I'm forever grateful. They know an uncle who can play sports with them, take them to movies and concerts, and one who's never too exhausted to be there for them.

My description above covers my first surgery with Dr. Ganta from 13 years ago. Having said that, after my second surgical experience in the last 4 weeks, I will never go back to NuSelf. I will get a referral to a surgeon who takes follow-up, post-surgical care seriously. Not only did it take more than 24 hours for the surgeon to send in my post-surgical prescriptions, every attempt to get a prescription has been a struggle. I feel like Dr. Ganta isn't listening to my post-surgical experience, nor does he truly care how I'm feeling. In one breath, he'll acknowledge that I'm in genuine pain, but in the next breath he'll tell me I just need to get used to it. In one breath, I was told it was going to take 6 weeks to heal; today, I was told it might be another 2 months to heal. At the same time, I was told to just take Motrin if the pain was bad. I've been in constant pain since my surgery a month ago, but I've only gotten 2 weeks of help with my pain. If you're okay with being an afterthought once you've paid for surgery, look no further. If you're looking for someone who isn't trying to rush you out the door and collect as much as possible from your insurance, find another bariatric surgeon. My relationship with NuSelf is officially over. Whatever excuses I made for Dr. Ganta because he helped me lose so much weight in the past are done; for any future bariatric needs I have, I'll find a surgeon who actually cares about me.

After a successful and minimally invasive appendectomy by Dr. Juprasert last October, he discussed bariatric surgery options and predicted weight loss with me. The procedure itself was unmemorable and the 12 weeks of dietary restrictions and recovery passed quicker than I imagined. Dr. Juprasert put at ease my anxieties regarding surgeries. He's very knowledgeable and capable, couldn't have asked for better. Surgical options aren't for everyone, and my insurance required a mental health assessment and the approval of my GP. Your diet and routine will need to change post surgery.

Dr. Juprasert has been wonderful. I’ve been going to see him for over a year now. I had a gastric sleeve in July 2024. He’s been great. He has excellent bed side manners. He listens and remembers you. His concern about his patients is wonderful. He’s always genuinely interested in helping his patients.
The surgery was hard, but it’s definitely worth it. I’ve lost over 75 lbs. I follow up with him every six weeks, so I’ve seen him a lot. He is definitely my recommendation for anyone!

Dr. Juprasert and the entire office staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I usually feel anxious about doctor visits, but they quickly put me at ease with their warmth and professionalism. I needed emergency gallbladder surgery, and Dr. Juprasert handled everything with exceptional care. The surgery went as expected, and my recovery is going smoothly. Dr Ganta is a very well educated medical professional before surgery he takes the time to know you as a person and as a patient so that he knows what's the right medical decision for your health its not all about money and rushing through the process at his office after surgery I have always been well taken care by Dr Ganta himself here you are not just seen by medical assistants he makes sure to attend to his patients at every visit Dr Ganta I'm so happy I chose you to complete my weightloss journey THANK YOU!

Dr. Juprasert has great bedside manner, cares about his patients, very approachable. I had an emergency gallbladder removal and during my follow-up he explained to me what happened to my gallbladder and I recovered fairly quickly from my surgery (few days). I mentioned that I had lost 35lbs and was struggling.I was worried it would be harder since now I didn't have my gallbladder. He recommended a gastric sleeve for me. I went with the recommendation. The surgery was easier to recover from than my gallbladder surgery. Now I am less than 20lbs away from my goal weight. My labs look great and my blood pressure is awesome. I feel so much better. Thank you to Dr. Jack and the Nuself team.

Dr. Juprasert gave me exceptional care. I was doubled over with a cute appendicitis and after a not so fun time waiting in the ER, I was promptly scheduled with him to do my appendectomy, which happened sooner rather than later. The surgery went very well and my recovery has been quick. Would gladly have Dr. Juprasert care for me again!
