The Oak Liquor Cabinet was one of the best liquor stores I’ve seen. They carry more and better store picks than most of the big chain stores. I love the fact that it’s locally owned and independent. Owner Raj is very knowledgeable

The Liquor Cabinet, a mom and pop liquor store in Northwest Austin opened in 1985. We took over in 1999 and renamed it Oak Liquor Cabinet with the intention of keeping it a mom and pop shop. Our store is known for our extensive bourbon, scotch, and beer collections as well as hard to find items. We have more than your average store picked barrels and we do tastings of different types of spirits every Friday and Saturday, as well as extra tastings over the holiday season. Additionally we bring in owners and master distillers to do bottle signings at our store for our customers.
