one ream of printer paper: $8. They tried to justify it being the normal price. Target sells a ream for 4.99 and isnt an office supply store. this stupid relic of years past needs to die

I’ve always purchased ink for my HP printer from this location or from Office Depot online. Most recently, I purchased the same multipack of HP ink cartridges I usually do for my printer (1 black and 3 color cartridges). When I installed the magenta and cyan cartridges, I received a “printer failure” warning on the display (see photo). I tried everything the HP troubleshooting guide online offered, but I kept getting the same printer failure message. Finally, I thought perhaps there might be something wrong with the new cartridges, so I pulled them out and put the old ones back in. The printer failure message disappeared. However, I can’t print with empty cartridges, so I took the pack of new but opened cartridges back to this Office Depot, and they said that even though the product is defective, they are not able to provide a refund for open packages of ink or toner. I asked to speak with a manager, and he said the same thing. They told me that my only recourse was to contact HP directly since the cartridges are HP products. I left the store and called Office Depot corporate, and was able to speak to a representative. They repeated the same return policy back to me. I refused to accept this and asked them how they could not resolve an issue with a defective product purchased from their company. It took about 30 minutes, but she finally did refund me for the defective cartridges. From now on I won’t be purchasing ink cartridges from Office Depot or OfficeMax. I’ll be purchasing them directly from the manufacturer, or from another store that will help when there is a defective product.

The employees followed me like if I was going to steal something literally looking at me in a lane check your cameras to see that this is true as soon as I left the rear of the store they stopped following me. How embarrassing

Don’t ever order anything online or at the store. They make everything unnecessarily hard and waste your time

After I got off of work I went in today looking for a magnifying glass. Because of something on my phone that is way too small that
i can't enlarge. The first 2 guys were really nice, they showed me 2 different ones and told me that there was another one closer to the register. I did open the package to see if it would work out for me and of course it didn't. The guy behind the register repeated 3 to 4 times to not open the packages. Then told me to give it to him so he could take it out of the system because they couldn't sell it. So I went back to the other ones to see if it would work out for me. The young lady standing next to him followed me back there to ask if I needed help. I told her that I was going to purchase one of them, but decided not to. As I put them back on the shelf I noticed her watching me from across the aisle. I did tell her that I wasn't going to take anything aka steal anything. Then the gentleman that was up front with her was coming down the aisle. But you won't have to worry about me. I won't be coming back. Thank you but no thank you.

Absolute worst Office Depot! I came in on Wednesday to get a stamp made the lady told me that she didn’t have time to input my information in the system and had me write down my name and phone number and she would call me when it was ready. Several hours passed and I did not receive a phone call so I called the store and was told that they could not find my signature I dropped off and to come back in and they would input my information in the system this time so I finally came in and the found man took my information again along with another copy of my signature and said he’d call me when it was done and I told me that’s what the last person told me and how do I know it won’t get lost again and he wrote “DO NOT LOSE” on the paper! I was going to leave and trust them but decided against it and asked for my papers back and what he handed me was the original papers they lost both even the one he wrote on! I am beyond furious by their unprofessionalism and their handling of important documentation.

Apparently this place thinks it’s still 2007. You need to have a USB to print out anything. I tried every other way to do it but it all failed. Asked for help, waiting 10 min, no one came. I left pretty pissed off.

Worst experience I've ever had. While I was waiting to check out, a gentleman said that if I join the membership today, I can get a 10% offon the items I purchased today, even though I didn't buy many items, I agreed. I didn't get a discount after they got my phone number, email address, name and postcode. The cashier answered with no discount only rewards back to my account in 30 days. So being a well-known chain is all about using lies to get customers' information?

Really nice people! I only had apply pay but my phone ran out of batteries. They let me charge in the store with a charger. That’s old school customer service right there…

Typically have excellent service in the print department. Today, was treated absolutely boorishly with an attitude, disdain. I told the women working frim 11:30 - 12:30 in print department Aug 19, 2023 what I wanted.
She asked me again. I told her again what size paper, weight and type. She asked me 4-5 more times the same question! I answered her questions over and over again. Finally, I stated to her tjat I've already given her this information repeatedly. She becomes even more rude and doesn't complete my order and begins helping another customer!! I asked earlier for any other employees in the back that could support her and she said no even though later she finally gets people from the back and two other employees come up, one a manager. Both are very nice and knowledgable and complete my print in mere minutes. - so the original rude employee just didn't want to ask for assistance with a line if customers out the door or what??
Additionally the manager, Matt was incredibly near abusive. Wouldn't support his team, help and his attitude and behavior are bordering on abusive.
Before the situation was resolved I requested a manager. The shaggy haired boy manager refused to help and did nothing. Matt, the manager came over and refused to support his team and complete a print that takes 5 minutes. I was told to go to self serve. I was ignored. Passed over for other customers. Then Matt says to me
"What's your problem?" He says to me with an attitude. Wow! Appalling behavior.
The employee that finally took care of my order was polite and knew his work but the tried to take other customers over me. Then I had to request him finish my order while 2 customers were abusive and harassing. Thus is all on camera by the way. These two make customers then started harassing a women in mine behind them. WOW!!! Finally was able to get my prints and leave 1 hour + later!! BEYOND!

My experience in the printing department on February 13th was not great. When I asked the male worker behind the counter if I could forward a document to be printed, he turned me away and told me he does not have my file. A female customer standing nearby politely pointed to an email address posted on the counter and said I could forward my document there. I do not understand why the worker could not simply tell me this. After I forwarded my file to the email address, the male worker printed the document on a special type of paper with a slight upcharge when standard paper would have worked just fine. He also tore off the bottom half of my receipt and told me I didn't need it. When I asked him what he had torn off, he said it wasn't important and pretended to rip it up, but he did only one clean rip. This is a total guess, but I'm thinking it might have been a survey of some sort that he planned to give himself high marks on.
There was no problem with the print quality, for what it's worth, and another female employee in the store I spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

Neil helps me every time I go! He makes our bulk-printing way less stressful than when I’ve gone to do it alone. Anytime I need to go to Office Depot- I go to this location!
