Heather and Eliseo are both the BEST curly hair stylists I have ever had cut my hair. I have gone to many curl salons, and the stylists at Orange salon are both the most knowledgeable, patient and skilled. If you have curly hair this is the place to go!

Eliseo is the best! I’ve been seeing him for years and just realized I’ve not left him a review yet! He keeps my curl game strong, the salon itself is super cute, and their products are pretty amazing. So fresh they keep them in the fridge. I’m a little crunchy so that makes me happy.

My 13 y/o daughter was getting her first super short cut and I was so worried she wouldn’t like it as it’s not something you can just toss in a ponytail and wait for it to grow out. Heather was a godsend with communication and got very detailed with her regarding what she was looking for and adjusted the haircut as they went based on my daughter’s feedback. The result was a cut she (and I) absolutely LOVE. I am so appreciative of Heather’s patience and care. I cannot recommend her enough. We’re beyond thrilled!!!!Service: Haircut

It's been a long time and they've since moved so I almost didn't recognize the place based on the new location, but then the memory hit me. The end result was OK but the experience was very unpleasant. She seemed completely at a loss about how to cut my hair... I think because it's curlier in some spots than others... and expressed a lot of uncertainty about how to approach it, which made me very anxious. I tried to politely give her an out but she declined, and I wish inhad trusted my gut and left before it started.

I saw Eliseo on 12/16 and this haircut is, without any doubt, one of the best I have ever had. I have been to many curly hair experts over the years and so far he's the best. If he did this well with my first cut, I am really looking forward to actually having great hair! My hair is like a cross between some loose curls, tight curls, and ramen noodles. A good cut for me is critical with such unruly hair. Ive had several hairdressers move away from Austin so I've had a difficult time this past 18 months. I did have to wait a while for the appointment (about two months) but to me that was a major hint that this will be worth the wait. And it was. He took the time to show me why my current cut was causing challenges and how we would fix that. He also took a more conservative approach as he wasn't as familiar with my hair and how much it would shrink , because when weight is removed that's what curls do. He educated me on how to best wash and style hair and products (they use a great, bespoke type brand from a small business in their salon), My hair looks GREAT. He didn't go crazy styling it and really made sure I know what to do with it going forward. He guarantees his work and I don't ever see him being the type to dismiss you. Very nice guy. I recommend making an appointment far in advance of when you need a cut and go ahead and make one right after. I see why he's so popular! Thanks Eliseo! You may finally be the one to tame the beast!

We went with a bob and took all the dead ends off. I’ve struggled with finding the right products and I’ll be saving so much money not looking for them. I finally sought out a hair stylist that specializes in curls. My friend absolutely loved her cut from Heather, and I booked with Eliseo. He was so sweet, and really took the time to educate me on the best way to care for my curls. You know how you usually leave a salon and can never recreate what your stylist did? I was able to recreate my salon look after I washed my hair! I'd highly recommend him to anyone with curls or waves.

Eliseo is really good! I'm a repeat hair straightening offender and got to a point where I just want to embrace my natural curl. Eliseo is the first person I see who is trained in cutting/styling curly hair and let me tell you that he is GOOD! Definitely going back

Finding a new stylist when you move to a new area is always nerve-racking and a dice roll and I'm so glad my dice landed on Eliseo. He is the absolute best! 1,000,000/10 recommend you book your services with him ASAP (but leave enough room on his calendar for me because I will be back lol). Not that he's not already pretty booked and busy to begin with (which--we love to see it!) for obviously good reason. I just moved to Austin a few months ago and am attending a wedding in a few weeks so I was lucky enough not only to find him to begin with but to book with him just in time today and wow, what an absolute game changer! I'm so happy I came to him. He was/is so sweet and knowledgeable. He really takes the time to explain the process, products, and practices and is incredibly thorough. I felt completely taken care of and in good hands. He answered all of my questions and you can tell he really has a passion for what he does. I legit had to smack my husband's hand when he tried to admire/mess with my gorgeous curls by Eliseo. I'm still checking myself out and I probably will continue to until I have to tragically wash my hair again and attempt to recreate his magic at home. I'm so happy to have found him, my hair looks AMAZING, and I can't wait to go back. I'd recommend him to anyone, hence I'm now here recommending him to all of you! You won't regret it. Go go go!

10/10 recommend Heather for all things curly hair!! Heather's knowledge base is invaluable & she can work with all hair types! I am a biracial woman with tight curly hair who has had haircut nightmares in the past. Heather worked with me to alleviate all of my fears & found the perfect cut for me! I also learned so much along the way about my hair. Heather is caring, does not rush, & works so great with her clients. I will be moving out of State soon but plan to book with her when I'm back in town. My cut also convinced other curly girls in my family to book with her in the future. Thanks so much Orange Salon!
