I broke my right foot in several places, saw Dr. Hubbard here and he was great. Great experience in total, nice nurses and X-Ray tech. I actually enjoyed going to the doctor for a change. Highly recommend if you have an injury.

Very disappointing experience. Waits are always extremely long despite having appointments. Front office is not pleasant to deal with. My follow up appointment took over a month to schedule despite being told it would take 2-3 days. Dr. Toy is great. Physical therapists are good.

This place is a joke. Tried to get my uncle seen for a broken foot. After being given the run around with other ortho places, OACT said they could see him. I specifically told them when scheduling that the ER said he needed surgery, so they scheduled him with Dr. Burrus. We went to the appt and guess what??? Dr. Burrus said he DOESN'T do foot surgery and said he wasn't the Dr on call for the ER the day we went there and he couldn't see him because of that!! There was obvious negligence when getting scheduled!! Luckily Dr Burrus was nice enough not to charge us for the visit and helped as best he could with getting us info for the Dr that was on call - which didn't work anyway because that Dr was leaving his practice this week. Whoever is scheduling for OACT needs training on what questions to focus on when scheduling a pt because if a pt comes from the ER chances are they already were told what their problem needed (surgery for example). Had they listened when I told them that at the time of appt request, then I would've saved a wasted trip and the Dr could've actually had a real pt he could help.

So brought my mom for post ok for FOOT surgery. Front desk girls were so attentive NOT!! They blow you off and til their eyes. And never mind an appt. We had one 30min ago but they took back the person that had an appt after us first. How do I know? Loud convo! I have worked in dr office and hospitals all my life and I woulda never kept my job with their attitude. I guess drs offices have to settle for less these days?? Sad for the patientsHopefully the back office is better. When I brought my daughter had they been here I would have NEVER recommended the office to my mother

Their office staff is negligent. They don't answer their phones, don't return phone calls or emails, don't even put their voicemail on when they're not in the office so it will ring indefinitely, don't provide the requested medical records on the dates that they verbalized that they would, basically it's impossible to get ahold of anyone. They also don't seem to know their own billing policies or how to work with medical insurance.

They NEVER return my phone calls when I try to make an appointment. Dr. Toy seemed totally aloof when I did finally after two months of calling, got an appointment. They were supposed to request MRI & CT scan for my lower lumbar, but never did (because they never had any intention to). I can't get in touch with them by phone. I am disabled and they know it's very difficult for me to physically go to an office to complain, so they just ignore my phone calls & voice messages. I couldn't be more disappointed in a physician's practice.

Friendly staff and great location! Staff has always been very helpful with paperwork and patient concerns. Communication has been easy and effective leading to better patient outcomes. -Andrea PCC at Techridge Prosthetics

Terrible communication with patients. Don't go there . There are other options like southwest Orthopaedics. I was in pain for 2 weeks because of a poorly fitting cast. Could not get a call back from anyone. Now 2 months later the pressure sores have healed but am having trouble with pain that I should not have ever had. My new orthopedic surgeon has helped me a lot. The problem was a lack of communication, no effort to call back patients. Please think about this before you go there.

I am so disappointed with the care I have received under Orthopedic Associates of Central Texas. I went in for an initial visit and was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. 2 weeks after my initial visit, my pain had gotten far worse and it took me 2 days to get any sort of response from the doctor about my symptoms. When I did finally get a call back, all the doctor's assistant said was "the doctor isn't concerned about your symptoms" and gave me no reason behind why my pain had gotten worse. I then went back for a follow up where they sent me to get an MRI. This happened on a Thursday and I was told that the doctor would call me with my results the following day before he went out of town on vacation for a week. I did not receive that phone call and am now left in the dark for another week, not knowing if I need surgery or what the status is of my injury. I would not recommend this practice as they truly seem to not care about their patients well being.

In my two visits my average wait time was at least 60 minutes after my appointment time. Having to waste time waiting when you've arrived on time is frustrating, but it appears to be standard practice here. Not a well functioning location. Even with Austin traffic I will be looking for another place to visit.
