I just got a membership about 60 days ago. No exaggeration, the spray tanning booth at William Cannon has been out of service for various reasons 4 of the times I have tried to use it in the last 2 months, yet I continue to pay a pricey membership fee. Not sure it’s worth it really.

I have been to this location a couple of times over the years and the employees were usually so helpful. This time was different. I just got home from a terrible spray tan that has left me with a streak down both of my sides, due to lack of communication and proper instructions. There were two girls at the desk today, both very friendly but also did not seem to know what they were doing as they both struggled with computer information, which was okay and I was very patient and friendly because sometimes tech stuff happens. I was provided a recommendation by one of them to get a spray tan that costs $10 more than what I usually go with - it sounded great at the time and provides the sides sprayed instead of just front and back. When it was my turn, I let them know that this is my first time doing this particular spray tan and would need help with instructions. One of the girls walked me in and was really quick to tell me that the machine would tell me how to stand. Great! Nope. Not great. When I got in, it was very quick and confusing with where to put my feet and quickly sprayed. I had no idea what I was doing. When I got out of the machine is when I noticed a poster on the wall showing the directions on how to stand: arms and legs posed specific ways that I NEVER heard the machine say once. Turns out the girl was standing in front of the poster when she was talking to me and so I completely missed it. It would have been nice to have been shown this poster when I asked for help in the beginning instead of her telling me that the machine would do it. So, I go out and kindly let them know of the situation and another lady is there and starts showing me how I was supposed to pose. I told her that I wasn't told that at all and she responds with "there is a poster". Yeaaah....girl stood in front of it and told me the machine would just tell me. Again, would have been nice if she showed me the poses at least. The lady shrugs and walks off. The girl apologized and even admitted that she had forgotten how the machine gives information and she should have helped me with the directions. Again, I was very patient and kind with the situation, even apologizing myself because in no way do I want to be difficult. It was then that I was offered to BUY a mit to fix my problem! I said that I have one at home and she said it should fix it. It has not fixed it and I am now stuck with a botched spray tan 2 days before I leave on a trip. I'm currently applying my own tanning lotion to try and hopefully remedy the situation, but that is $45 down the drain and I am so upset by this experience and now know why this location has terrible ratings.

I don’t know what’s with this specific location but every single front desk girl I’ve seen in the past 6 months here always has a bad attitude and it’s super annoying to deal with.

Spray tan machines have malfunctioned on more than one visit. Vocalized concerns. Told to call a 1-800 number to complain with no assistance. Spray tan machine blew out air for more than one pass. Most recent spray tan did not spray my past my knees. Previous spray tans came out splotchy leaving circles, which is not normal. Think it’s time to change locations. Other workers have been nice. Surprised to see rude service after todays visit. I do like the color selected if the machine had worked properly. Service provider had no desire to remedy their machine or offer an alternative solution.

I love the customer service at this location! Rooms are always clean & the The staff is always very friendly, and gives great recommendations for lotions and services depending on what I'm looking for.

Love the salon...when it's open. Make sure and call before you go because I have now showed up 3 times during business hours to be disappointed. I drive 20 mins to come here so super inconvenient.Service: Tanning

I have always had great experiences at this tanning salon! Their beds always get me tan so quickly. The staff is always very friendly, and gives great recommendations for lotions and services depending on what I'm looking for. I really enjoy that they do a flex unlimited plan, and you're not paying a ridiculously over priced rate. The beds are definitely worth it! And I do really like that you can go to any of their locations.

Karissa was amazing! Helped me and friend find the best deal. We are both mothers of 4 kids and normally don't do this. Very respectful and considerate. Recommend highly!
