I've made the mistake of returning to this PetSmart location multiple times, solely due to its distance from my home. Each visit reinforces my regret. The staff consistently exhibit a level of apathy bordering on hostility. They are profoundly unhelpful and lack even basic product knowledge.
A month ago, my family purchased a betta fish, "Swim Shady," who was visibly ill and emaciated. His condition was heartbreaking. Despite the staff's complete lack of concern, and their callous suggestion to "just bring his body back for a replacement," we nursed him back to health. This was entirely due to our dedication and effort, and in no way thanks to PetSmart's "care." The corporate response to my subsequent complaint was equally appalling, demonstrating a complete disregard for animal welfare.
Today's experience was the final straw. I purchased a 5-gallon tank, only to discover upon filling it that it was defective and leaked profusely from multiple seals. This is not just poor-quality merchandise; it's a complete failure of basic product integrity.
This PetSmart location exemplifies the very worst of brick-and-mortar retail: overpriced, defective products and a staff that prioritizes minimal effort over customer service. Their "minimum viable product" approach to customer satisfaction makes it clear why brick-and-mortar stores like this are rapidly becoming obsolete.
Avoid this location at all costs. Your pets deserve better, and so do you. This isn't just a bad store; it's a testament to corporate negligence and a complete failure to meet even basic customer expectations.

We used to love this place for grooming services but I think it is massively understaffed now. Make sure you call ahead for a walk-in appt. I know that sounds crazy, but the website says it is from 2pm-6pm, and a manager just confirmed they usually stop around 3pm with no real set time, so I was very confused. It creates a long wait at the other location, so it’s a pretty bad situation, as far as pet grooming convenience goes. “First world problems,” I know.

Grooming here is terrible. One of the guys here over-cut my dog’s hair and left it uneven! Some parts of him you can even see a little bit of skin. Never coming here again and recommend you not to come here for grooming!

I just recently purchased rotted cat food from this location!!! Never have I ever seen rotted pet food!!
I also complained about the care of the kitties for adoption, I have donated items carrier, goods, blankets, toys, a pet bed for a kitty Cesar ( volunteer MARIA) threw all items away!!! The organization is SOS rescue.And of course they never respond to concerns of disgarded donations...these poor animals sit with one pillow multiple bowls of half water and maybe dried old food😿 it's heart wrenching how neglected they are. I called "Maria" to inquire about the missing donations and she wanted only to argue " telling me not to donate'! The store manager is aware. She actually placed the 2 cats together without food and left!! The staff removed one after made aware of concerns , the staff unfortunately are aware of this malicious volunteer and state they're unable to do anything it's up to the manager who just won't .
Now after the rotting food I will never purchase anything from this store,but my concerns of the furbabies will not cease until they are somewhere where they are wanted and cared for properly!!!

Got our pup Lola groomed here by Danielle after unpleasant results at some of the “fancy” high dollar spots around town and I just have to say Danielle did the best job out of everyone! Could not be more satisfied!

I placed an online order through PetSmart, which was to be delivered via DoorDash. Unfortunately, the DoorDash driver was unable to locate my address and only spoke Spanish, making communication difficult. When I checked the app tracking page, it instructed me to contact the PetSmart store directly for assistance.
When I called the store, the experience went from bad to worse. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude, dismissive, and made it clear that they didn’t consider it their responsibility to help. Instead of providing any guidance or support, they hung up on me, leaving me completely stranded.
I understand that delivery issues might not be the store’s fault, but the lack of any willingness to assist is unacceptable. It’s mind-boggling that there is no process in place to help customers resolve issues like this. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. PetSmart really needs to address these gaps in customer service.

I went today to this store to make nails trim for my dog and clean the anal glands, it is not the 1st time I’m going to Pet Smart for this service, however, it was the 1st time in this specific location. The guy in the grooming area REFUSED to give the service, he said it is only done with bath and I told him to check in the system that it wasn’t the 1st time I’m taking my dog to Pet Smart for the service, and he said that the system between Pet Smart stores are not connected but he didn’t even type in the system or asked my pet’s name, he said it has to be charged $50 if I wanted the service w/o bath, when I’ve paid only $12 for that before. Also, he asked me to talked to the groomer in the back in Spanish! Like I wasn't fluid in English and he wasn't understanding what I was saying. The girl in the back told me they cannot do that services, and she was busy. I went to Pet Smart in Roundrock and they found my pet in the system, did the service in less than 10min and with a huge smile and kindness.
Never again I’ll visit this store in this location! Never.

Went to buy dog food, the store smelled awful. The dog food aisle was covered in rat droppings and pee. I couldn’t even safely touch a bag. Rats are a huge health hazard, do better. Shut it down if you can’t control it. Asked for a manager and the girl tells me that it’s an issue they are aware of lol wow thanks👍🏻
