I joined Practical Fitness to achieve some fitness goals before my wedding. I am happy to report that because of PF I have been able to achieve exactly what I wanted! I have become more lean, decreased my body fat percentage, and have much more definition through my arms, back, and legs. Aside from the great 30 minute workouts I received excellent guidance from Colton on nutrition.I have always been a "if I'm not drenched in sweat by the end of a workout I didn't work out" kind of girl and so when I started with PF I was definitely a bit skeptical. I can definitely say that PF will leave you sore the next day and that their approach is effective. Consider my mind changed!Thank you Colton for being the best trainer! I will be back to visit!

This is the workout program if you want to get fit. Or recover from lack of use due to surgery or whatever reason. Elderly who want to live a stronger, longer life.

I love the custom approach Practical Fitness trainers plan for me. I have partnered with them for 12 years and when my fitness goals change, they customize my plan. No other plan has ever given me the results and enjoyment I have through PF! I highly recommend.

The program is efficient and effective. I feel stronger and my body is finally back to pre-baby strength after really loosing core strength and tone. Something I was unable to do before the 1:1 attention and support given by the trainers at practical fitness.

I have been attending sessions at Practical Fitness over the past 6 months and found the team to be awesome! They patient and encouraging when I ran into some health challenges over the summer. If I wasn't moving out of Austin in the next few weeks, I would have definately kept attending.Thanks all!!

My fiancée and I have been going for about 4 weeks now… we have clearly seen a difference in strength and movement. The coaches are extremely motivating and invested in our individual success. I used to do a very popular HIIT program 5-6 times a week but my body started to become injured and recovery was hard. The pracfit program is one on one, intense, and mechanical. I have had zero injuries so far, I’m building strength, and I’m just as smoked (smoked=good), if not more, after each workout. The best part… I’m only in the gym 30 min twice a week. So far I love this place! Can’t wait to see what the next 4 weeks will bring!

I am a cardiologist and was the President of Austin Heart and on the board of the Heart Hospital. Unfortunately I was injured while stopped next to a school bus. I was rear ended by a car going 70. Long story -substantial trauma and my back deteriorated ending my career. I am 62. I am starting with Geoff at the advice of a senior federal special agent whose fitness determines his survival on the job. I met with Geoff and several things I noted as a someone who knows what to look for. 1. They want a medical questionnaire to understand who you are and most importantly if they can help and not cause harm. This is critical 2. They ask and review your expectations in writing. I would like to look like Batman in the Bat Suit and become totally pain free but both are unlikely although i would take reduced pain 3. They track everything regarding your progress. Unless you measure you are wasting your time. 4. Geoff understands human physiology at a very high level and I can certainly vouch for that. We were able to speak as peers. 5. They are meticulous during the session to prevent back injury in that they intuitively know body dynamics and the position you need to be in during each exercise. This isolated the muscle group and spares the back and spine. This is very very important even if you do not have herniated discs Bottom line- it's high level rehab or athletic training -they can obviously tailor the training to your needs. From training my special agent very very strong and fit friend to me covers the spectrum of need. It's going to be up to me but accountability is crucial. I would never go to gym on my own and even if I did, I do not have the knowledge to get stronger without causing serious harm. An MRI is expensive as are epidurals. Having been thru two other trainers their price is reasonable and very competitive. It's actually lower given the quality of the people and high tech equipment and facility (I went to Lakeway) Had I known about this program I would have referred my patients and been confident that they would have safely improved.
