I drove in from San Antonio to sell some gear, the guys pawned me off to the northern location 30 minutes away. I arrived to the northern location and they aren’t buying anything today 4-5 hours wasted. The staff gave off a real lackadaisical vibe, it might be because of the holidays, but nobody seemed to care. I wasted a lot of time.

My recent visit to Precision Camera was a delightful experience. The shop boasts a stellar camera selection, but what truly sets it apart is the super-friendly staff. In particular, Hannah, a knowledgeable and warm presence, made my visit memorable. Her enthusiastic welcome and expert guidance added a personal touch to my camera shopping. Precision Camera, with Hannah and its outstanding customer service, is undoubtedly a gem in the local camera retail scene.

Kudos to Omar (at the Southpark Meadows location) for his camera knowledge, helpfulness and willingness to listen. He patiently explained features and allowed us to do a hands-on comparison of at least four different camera models / manufacturers. He was genuinely interested in helping us choose the best model for our intended use -- not just making a quick sale or steering us towards the highest-priced camera.The decision was more involved than we anticipated, but Omar guided us through the seemingly overwhelming list of possibilities. We appreciate his stellar customer service.

I started at the North location and had a next to terrible experience. I presented my camera with 3 problems to the repair team. The man helping me looked at my camera for 10-15 minutes and came back with “we can’t help you” and sent me on my way but only addressed one of the problems. I came to the South store to get a second opinion and was blown away by the customer service and willingness to help. I presented my camera to a gentleman and told him my experience at the North store. He immediately went to someone he said was most experienced and got his opinion. My camera was passed around and tested several times including switching lenses, switching bodies, etc and came back with potential solutions. I appreciate a conversation even if I can’t be directly helped more than someone who won’t speak to me if they can’t help. I was also saying that I needed a lens adapter for my other body and I was given multiple options on where and how to get it. The customer service at the South store is phenomenal and will 100% be choosing this location if I need anything further. Thank you guys!

I went to Precision to look for a new camera. I have been away from photography since the film days, so I don't know much about current tech. Giannina greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to show me different brands and helped me hone in on what was the best fit for me. I highly recommend this location, and make sure you ask for Giannina!

I have some studio lighting I bought from Precision almost 10 years ago. I brought it in to the south store today and they helped me troubleshoot the problem and find an affordable solution with amazing customer service! Precision is the real deal!!

Omar of the Southpark Meadows location is a rockstar! I was on the hunt for a Canon 5d Mark IV which are extremely hard to find. He spent endless time hunting one down for me and transferring it from their Houston store. His exceptional customer service and communication are a rare find! We had an excellent experience at Precision Camera. We also had a wonderful conversation with our salesman. Ended up buying a lens. So far it’s working out well. This store is packed with all the wonderful gadgets a photog wants… we spent way to much time here.

OMG!!! Please come here and ask for Mark or Omar. They are freaking rock stars!!! I went to the North Austin Precision Camera location, and no one really bothered to help me. In fact, some people were downright rude about my questions and concerns. I just figured I would give up my search. But, as a last ditch effort, I called this South Park Meadows Precision Camera location, and Omar was so kind and knowledgeable! They answered all my vague and random printer questions, and I was able to walk out in confidence that I bought the right machine for the job. 10/10 would recommend and I'll be back!

I went in with a buddy to look at some equipment and he had some questions. Omar Fagerberg took the time to patiently explain different cameras with different features to him. He went above and beyond by showing him the difference between lenses, cameras and features. He almost spent a whole hour with him. When I'm in the market for a camera I will definitely be looking Omar up.
