ProtectOperator at Tommy Auto Works says he couldn’t fix the electric on my deployed air bag and said I would have to go to Honda, and therefore have to pay again. That is their business to fix electrical things on automobiles

Brought my car in to get the rear driver's windshield replaced back in June/May but never had time to write a review. Less than an hour later, they were done, and I paid around $290 to get my car back. However, for the quality of work I received, the labour (excluding the part) should have only cost around $50, and the fact that they completed the job so quickly really shows that they were rushing things. First, the shattered window left pieces of glass everywhere, and nothing was done to clean up any of the mess. When I picked up my car, there was still pieces of glass near the seats, in the cupholder of the door, and inside of the gap in the door that the glass sits in. In addition, the interior panel was not even secured back in correctly, and when I got home, I ended up having to remove and reinstall the panel myself to fully fix it (and honestly could have just replaced the windshield by myself at this point). Overall, the work was extremely sloppy and lacked attention to detail relative to what I had paid, and it's as if I could have asked a 15 year old boy to do the repair for me and received a better end result. Disappointed and angry. Edit 1, 10/18/2023: I called to follow up as requested, and the person I spoke to had a passive aggressive attitude and persistently insisted that he didn't know what happened while saying sorry in an unsympathetic manner. He then said that the maximum he could do in compensation for my case was a $20 refund ONLY IF I CHANGE the review, and HUNG UP ON ME when I asked if he could do $25 (because a $5 difference is considered a threat for money extortion? Really?). EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE, I would deduct this review to ZERO STARS if I could and will be telling everyone I know to never have business with this establishment. Edit 2, 10/18/2023: Used PROFANITY to curse at me when I called them a second time to confront them, and then hung up again. An immature loser and a COWARD.

2023 kia location 10720 N lamar in the HOOD Cheaper is not always better Hello I am a military veteran of the iraq war sent my mother here march17,2023 because of the reviews got a crack took it back owner said they could not fix it took it somewhere else turns out the windshield does not belong to the car that's why it cracked mother complained she was hearing air turns out the glass is coming up and has put my mother safety at jeopardy will ask for a full refund are proceeding to small claims court we do not want them to replace the glass due to the first replacement being so faulty and time lost not to mention safety also can not understand how the owner looked at the windshield when we received a crack went in the second time was Quick too say he would not fix it but did not see the glass literally coming off the framing of the car they rushed the job cut corners to save money charged my mother $500 Destroy the rear view mirror just the worse service it seemed already kind of shady when they were talking to us how they were buying the glass then charging $500 when they got a repurposed glass and tried to say it was not after market i know because she talked on the phone in front of me i held my tongue it business but if you going too charge professional prices as much as safe lite the glass should not be coming up and job should not be faulty my mother is going to get it replaced again we want a full refund if we win in small claims court they will pay are fees and we may be awarded more for are time and safety being but at jeopardy and the fact they rushed the job even though they had the vehicle all day when we jumped in the car we had to come back because the sensor on the rear view was completely detached from its placed when they look at it turned out they broke it and had to replace it now to find out the glass is to small and the adhesive molding is becoming detached because the fitment is off wind noise is so loud we live out of town we been back twice we will not be returning please give us a Full refund i have read many reviews but i find them hard to believe after the experience we received will call tomorrow to discuss further action called multiple times with no answer through out the day and emailed the company only to find out that the email that is posted on the website is faulty kind of shady

Sadly I'm having to review these guys. I was transferred to them from Geico. The original part was approved. I called numerous times and was told I would get a call back and no response. I called the final time and was told they could not get Safelite to approve the OEM part however it had already been approved by Geico. The man I spoke with basically said Georgetown Infiniti could have the window in 2 days. I assumed they would be getting the window for me and put it in. I called Geico and they spoke with the office and was told I wanted the dealer which was not the case. I was waiting on the window from the dealer. I was helping by reaching out to Geico because it had already been approved. They decided they did not want to do the work. If you did not want to do the work, you should have reached out to your customer. Save yourself and use a better shop.

The employees here are so friendly and helpful. I will never go any other place because it is such a delightful experience! They were fast, responsive, great price and delightful people!! Great place to get your glass fixed :)

Look how they returned my car! With the dashcam just hanging down from the ceiling by its power cable. Totally unacceptable in every way. I talked to the tech who did this and he said it's not his responsibility. Noway dude. Anything you disconnected while taking the old one out, you are responsible to reconnect when putting the new one in. Just leaving expensive electronics hanging like this is likely to make them swing and break as I drive. Not OK.

Nice people, but did a terrible quality glue job on my windshield. Didn't explain that their process would leave giant, unsightly amounts of glue bulging through the glass inside the truck. Looks terrible. They left black glue on my white body and interior trim. Told me I needed to come back later, a second time, to trim the glue they left after install. Didn't explain that until after the job was done. (I'm super busy, so a second visit was really inconvenient.) When I came back, they gladly trimmed off the glue. However, I had tint installed. I asked them not to mess up the tint. Again, unknowingly, they ruined my brand new tint fixing up their work. Tell me clearly before you might damage something. Maybe this was the best quality they could do on my vehicle, but none of that was explained to me so everything came as a surprise. If I had known this, I instead would have gotten a gasket and had them install a gasket instead. Bunch of time and money not put to good use.

The Best in town, hands down. Reasonable prices, had my window in stock, got me replaced in an hour! Everyone was great to work with. Don't bother shopping around, go to LPAG and get it done!

They replaced our hail cracked windshield when they said they would, and for a fair price. They even got the inspection sticker and tags off the old and on the new! I would recommend them!

I see a lot of people have had great experiences here so my story is certainly an outlier. The people here were nice from start to finish, and they replaced my side window for less than anyone else quoted. That savings would unfortunately turn out to be a false economy. A couple of weeks after the replacement I find that the window is stuck in the rolled-down position and will not roll back up. I drove immediately back to Low Price. They promptly took a look even though I didn't have an appointment, and informed me that the window regulator was bad. They could get the part in about an hour and it would run around $300. I told them I'd pass and take the car to the dealer. It is a new-ish car, still under warranty, and it seemed unlikely to be a coincidence that the window regulator would randomly fail at that point. Sure enough, the dealership told me the installation was done improperly. A new OEM window, regulator, and labor totaled just over $1,100, on top of the $250 I paid to Low Price for the original replacement. Ouch! I don't think the people here are scheming and incompetent, but something did go wrong here, and it cost me a pretty penny. Being the lowest-price shop in town, it would be too much to expect them to offer to replace the regulator for free, and I certainly didn't ask for that. Maybe the aftermarket part for my particular window wasn't up to spec and they had no way of knowing - who knows? I'll say it one more time, they seemed to be nice folks and all, but I want to share my experience because it did not match the glowing five-star expectations I gathered from Yelp.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. I had a broken window that needed to be replaced and tinted. Some places only replace windows and do not tint, but this place does both for a low price. I noticed there was a scratch on the window tint and they immediately fixed it. Definitely recommend this place.
