No spin classes here, locker room badly needs an upgrade and cleaning, weight floor and location are good though. I had intended to keep lifetime as I live between nyc/austin but this option isnt great. I’ll cancel as soon as I leave this neighborhood and just do equinox again, its basically the same price but nicer and more classes.

My things go missing at this gym and management doesn’t care to check the cameras and get back to me to see what happened.
Water cooler always empty. Soap in restroom is extremely diluted, like they’re trying to save on spending money on actual soap.
$250+ for Planet fitness standards.

Smaller place but lifetime always does a good job hiring the right people to make the experience. Javony at the life cafe is awesome! Very helpful and great customer service!

I used to be a member here at lifetime and I did have a lovely experience. I now do various workouts around town or on my own. My favorite part of lifetime was finishing my workout and getting my almond butter shake from Javony (thank you Javony, you’re the best) I will workout on my own or go to Barry’s or wherever actually then walk to lifetime just for my almond butter shake because nothing else around town compares. So delish and I also just love seeing Javooooony!

Love this location. I try to work from here anytime in town because the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Big shout out to Jovany at the lifecafe here. He's an extremely kind human.

I wasn't sold at first, but now I feel I can't go back to normal gyms. The AC and the cleanliness is unmatched.

This gym closes earlier than other gyms. It closes at 7pm on weekends (even Golds stays open til 9pm) yet this “Lifetime” costs $250! It is also limited with wasted studio space that should be other stuff and super small bathrooms. The lockers jam and lock people out daily. No pickleball or basketball court. No climbing wall. There’s not even a pool. The staff is friendly though so that’s a plus. But $250 is a lot to pay monthly for the hours and what you get here. They should at least have summer hours that are longer.

I’m paying $250 per month for this exact location, and they don’t even open at 4:00am on week days and 5:00am on weekends, please adjust hours, it should be open earlier for the price

*Review is strictly in reference to the location on 5th in downtown Austin*
In summary this location is run poorly, amenities are never stocked, gym is overcrowded, the hours are insanely disappointing, but the equipment is in fine condition and decent quality.
$230+ a month and they can’t even keep the water cooler filled, despite it sitting right in front of the manager stand. How hard is it to have an employee keep an eye on it or do an hourly refill?
When I signed up this was branded as the “exclusive and elite” location in austin, hence the highest dues. Then you come to find out like half of the people here aren’t even paying members but rather have some deal with their employer or local organization that allows them to workout here. I’m all for this type of thing except when falsely presented that this is an “exclusive” club and despite the space being on the smaller side, it will never feel overcrowded. WRONG. Lines to get into the sauna at 8pm… wow.
I joined this location because of its location convenience for me, but the south location is 100x better at a lower rate too.
Some of the staff is great though, I don’t want to dog on them. Especially shout out to the guy with short hair and red beard, he’s always working on something and very friendly. It comes down to a management issue, as they can’t even seem to keep amenities in stock.
I speak as someone who as been a member of the other “luxury branded” gym and overall it feels LifeTime has solid vision but poor execution

I recently had the pleasure of working with a Personal Health Advocate at Lifetime

exceptional experience. From the moment I started my wellness journey, “JAVONY”provided unwavering support, guidance, & expertise every step of the way. Luv this place. The entire team here ROCKS. ? “t”

Maintenance issues. No working showers. Down for a week to caulk. Laughable. Caulk takes at most 24 hours to dry. WiFi down. Locker rooms dirty.
