We had our wedding at Rambling Rose Ranch in October 2023. I believe it was the second venue we visited, and I immediately knew it was "the one." The venue is beautiful. The dance floor surrounded by all the greenery and the window panes left me in awe. It was a beautiful spot for our first dance, and the surrounding area for games. One one side of the dance floor was this rustic bar area with three cocktail tables - one we used for our fake tattoo station. The "arena" is the covered area with a huge space large enough for all the tables, catering, a spot for the DJ, AND dancing (which we had to move under because it started to rain a bit). The steps with the gorgeous tiles leading up to the ceremony site from the dance floor are beautiful, and the ceremony site with the benches and the huge tree to get married under. We placed many pillows on the benches for our guests to use in case they found the benched uncomfortable, but there were no complaints about them. The fire pit, while we didn't use it, had extra seating not too far away from the dance floor, but far enough for anyone who wished for a "quieter" spot. Which also happened to be next to the animals. They were a HUGE plus, and a hit among our guests as they were able to feed them apples and carrots. The groom suite and the bridal suite are beautifully decorated as well. Spacious and hidden away just enough that you can see your guests walking to the ceremony site, but they can't see you if you are wandering around. We had a private cake cutting in the bridal suite after we ate our dinner with our guests.Working with Sandy and Morgan was easy during a time that is usually pretty stressful. They answered my many questions, and gave us several recommendations. We felt welcomed and wanted. When I made mistakes from reading our contract wrong, they were gracious and never treated me poorly. From the day we first reached out to even now after our wedding they have been great with communication. We highly recommend this venue!

I am writing this review to serve as a warning to those who are considering booking Rambling Rose Ranch as their wedding venue.I booked a date with RRR in 2019 and paid for my wedding in full. I was beyond excited to work with Morgan and Sandy after meeting them.I needed to cancel my wedding when my fiancé at the time ended our relationship in early 2020, and I did so more than a year in advance of the date we had booked. It was a rough situation for me personally, and I was extremely understanding of their situation at RRR, given the timing happened to coincide with the start of COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020. I offered them time, flexibility, payment plan options, deferring payment, etc. as I knew they would be struggling with their industry in the pandemic. The ownership at RRR has still not paid me back the entire portion owed, and I don't believe they intend to. They committed to a payment plan in early 2021 in which they did not follow through (I received 2 payments) or answer any further communication from me.They have claimed that they do not have the money, even though another wedding was held (at a higher booking cost, per their website) on my previously-scheduled wedding date, and many other weddings have been held there since.I have been forced to enter legal proceedings to get a response from them, even after being understanding and kind about their situation. All I wanted to do was get this resolved, and their lack of cooperation has kept this dragging on for years. From my personal experience, I would not recommend conducting business with this venue.

Amazing venue! We shot a wedding here not too long ago. It was such a pleasant experience being here. There's plenty of room for strolls, animals to interact with and feed, and the staff is super responsive. Definitely a 10/10 in our books!

My wedding was April 8th 2023 and Rambling Rose couldn’t be more beautiful! Sandy and Morgan made sure our special day exceed expectations. If you love nature this is definitely the perfect venue. From the fire pit (located on property) to the farm animals (which you can set up a feeding station for guest) there is so much this venue offers! Morgan is an expert in flowers so the natural vegetation around the area is just thriving! If you’re looking for a fairy garden feel you won’t find a better place.

Beautifully rustic barn-style venue...the venue is very spacious, the bride and groom rooms are very cute. Surprisingly, for an outdoor venue, there weren't many bugs. And I loved the built-in bar area, and the unique framed dancefloor. The only issue I had was that there was nowhere to store the cake before the wedding, as it was unseasonably hot last weekend, (but they did warn me in advance, so we were prepared). As a wedding coordinator, it is very important to have clear communication with the venue, and Sandy and Morgan were on top of anything we needed as soon as I called.

We had our wedding at Rambling Rose Ranch in November 2022. From the moment we visited RR, we fell in love with the whole vibe of the place. The energy there is amazing and we knew immediately it was where we wanted to get married. The venue itself is beautiful. There is so much nature and the reception area and dance floor are just gorgeous. Unfortunately, it was freezing on the night of our wedding, so we ended up having our reception under the structure. I was bummed that we didn’t get to use the dance floor too much (it's so beautiful and picturesque) , but we were so grateful they had this covered area because otherwise our guests would have been absolutely freezing. Sandy and Morgan were wonderful throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were patient with our many anxious site visits and answered all of our questions. We never got to meet Morgan in person (although she was lovely over email), but Sandy was always wonderful to talk to and put us at ease each time we visited. Our pictures came out amazing! There are so many cute little areas to take pictures here, and they photograph so well. We would 100% recommend Rambling Rose Ranch to anyone looking to have a beautiful outdoor wedding. Thank you, Sandy and Morgan!

Attended a friend's wedding. The vibe is rustic and lovely. The event venue is mostly outdoors and it was a bit chilly for February but they had heaters which helped immensely. The staff was great and the food was tasty. It's not for everybody but for those that like this vibe I suggest checking them out.

We got married in April so this review is long overdue but I still think back to our day and how perfect this place was. We love nature and wanted to be surrounded by it on our wedding day. This was the only outdoor venue we toured that moved us and made us feel something. It wasn't manicured like most of the others. It has a secret garden feel that is stunning and unpretentious. Morgan and Sandy are the best – genuine, so kind, flexible with multiple date reschedules (we booked before the pandemic), patient with our countless emails, and put their heart into this property. So many of our guests said how amazing the place was and unlike any other wedding they had been to. I loved seeing everyone in all of the areas – people were feeding animals, using the ping pong table, dancing under the stars on the dreamiest dance floor. The ceremony site is beautiful and intimate – my partner and I had a private dinner under the oak tree which is one of my favorite memories. This place just gives off the best vibes and our friends and family were feeling it too. Everyone looked so happy, relaxed, and really let loose.(Photo Credit: Nikk Nguyen)

Absolutely loved working with this venue ! Our guests loved it! We got so many compliments on how unique it is. I had a great time planning our wedding. Morgan was so helpful over email during the year we spent planning. We visited it multiple times and always felt welcome and had all our questions answered. In-between booking and our wedding they added to the bridal cabin area and added bathrooms. The additions made the spaces were so awesome !! We were so glad they were made before our wedding too! We were a little worried about the detailed cleaning list, but the team I made said it went great and the owners were there to make sure it all looked good. No complaints! So happy we were able to make memories there.

We loved the Rambling Rose!! It's such a dreamy venue, and Morgan and Sandy are wonderful to work with. The old oak ceremony site and dance floor were exactly what we wanted, and we got so many compliments from people who loved all the unique spaces! We did hardly any decorating because the space is already so awesome. I know they're planning on having bathrooms soon, which will be a great addition, although the Luxury Loo worked fine. The only issue was a miscommunication on being able to replace the green benches with white chairs at the ceremony site (we had talked about it when we booked the venue and then were told the week of that it wouldn't be possible without an extra fee), so I'd suggest checking back in early if you want to make any changes. We'd absolutely recommend the Rambling Rose to anyone looking for a magical outdoor wedding spot!

Rambling Rose was the perfect venue for the wedding of my absolute dreams!!!It's been weeks since our wedding, and our friends and family are still raving about how lovely everything was. The dance floor is just a vision--the jasmine in bloom made it feel completely magical. I also loved getting to pet the horses. Even the teens had fun playing at the ping pong table :DEven though it was unseasonably hot, even by Texas standards, the ceremony under the shade of the gorgeous oak tree was comfortable and by the time the sunset and the dancing started, the temperature was perfect for the whole reception.Sandy and Morgan really worked with us on every detail. They really encouraged my DIY spirit and were supportive in us setting up our homemade photobooth. They are both such joyful people and really made the whole experience of planning a wedding fun :D

My husband and I had our wedding at Rambling Rose Ranch 2 days ago now and I am still beaming from how perfect the day way. I am going to break my review down between the owners and the actual venue. But if this is too long for prospective couples to read, just know I could not recommend this venue enough.Every interaction I had with Sandy and Morgan was lovely. Sandy gave us the initial tour and was so up front and transparent with us about all details, answered all questions, and legitimately seemed happy at the idea of working with us. You could argue that she is just a really good sales person, but I feel like this was because she is an exceptionally kind person who truly loves their venue and sharing the happiness the venue brings them with couples.Morgan was an absolute rockstar point of contact through all of the planning. I sent her several questions that did not involve her, but were pertaining to the wedding day and she gave me some incredibly thoughtful and helpful answers. I planned my whole wedding and there were moments that my head was spinning out of control. The communication I had with Morgan helped *SO MUCH*. She is a seasoned wedding professional at this point and will lend all of her tips and advice when asked. I could not be more thankful to have had her as a resource. The day of was an absolute blur for me as the bride. But it started with Morgan and Sandy running around making sure they did their part to give us the perfect venue for our day. They were so bubbly and sweet - a very lovely way to start the whirlwind of setting up the wedding. They stayed out of the way for the majority of the day, but they had their cell phone numbers posted everywhere to make sure we knew they were always available which is such a sweet and perfect little cherry on top of all the communication I had with them. Now for the venue. I have lived in Austin Texas my whole life and having a perfectly Texas wedding while not going a more honky-tonk route was what I wanted for my wedding. RRR gave me exactly that. There are so many small "hipster" details mixed in with the classically beautiful ranch details. The decor that the Ranch already has is perfect - there are cute messages spray painted on some of the walls around the edge of the property that make for adorable photo ops. The dance floor is like out of a fairy tale. The covered area (food area, back up in case of rain, reception, etc) has adorable little touches everywhere that gives a Texas Rustic feel while still skirting a modern aesthetic. Every where you look you can see little details that bring this venue to life. The large oak tree at the ceremony site is gorgeous and you can tell has been loved for many, many years. The two suites for the couples are cozy and spacious enough for the wedding party to get ready together. The fire pit area is such a nice addition that helped keep my guests warm. The bar was *perfect* for our bartender to make drinks all night long and to spread out so even when there were a lot of drink requests, he was able to keep up.Recommendations to couples:Definitely book a tour and ask as many questions as you can. Sandy and Morgan are just a wealth of knowledge both on their venue and weddings in general.Go for a package with the bathroom trailer. It was more than worth the little additional cost to not have to worry about a toilet situation.Book time with the fire pit. We did not use it nearly as much as I thought, but the guests who did were very thankful.Splurge on a photographer and make sure they know to take pictures of the details of the venue - the details around the venue really made our day extra special and I cannot wait to look at the pictures 40 years from now.Bottom line is I do not think I could have picked a better location. Between the animals making us smile (we had goat who wanted to join us), the owners making us feel so special, and the care that has gone into this venue, I am still riding my happiness high. Also LGBTQ friendly is a pretty great perk. Keep Austin a rainbow.

The Rambling Rose Ranch is the ideal outdoor venue for any free-spirited appreciators of animals, nature, and the arts. Owners Morgan and Sandy are two wonderful individuals who have created a ceremony/reception space fostered by love and creativity.Always reachable, they were quick to quell our "frantic wedding worries" and were open to us stopping by to check out those little details you always forget to ask about. The atrium dance floor, old oak tree ceremony site, and barnyard animals all make for some unbelievable photos.RRR was the first venue we visited and we instinctively knew it was the place for us. Best day ever ♥️ Thank you, Morgan + Sandy!!Married at RRR on 9.24.22

The venue is GORGEOUS! Even after a freeze where a lot of the plants did not make it, they revamped the plants and it put so much work into it and it was gorgeous! The lighting is incredible. Morgan and Sandy were extremely helpful! They let me come to the venue multiple times after booking to show family or come out to help make plans for decorations. The dance floor and the lighting were amazing! Very photogenic venue.I am rating it 4 stars for 2 things. There are no bathrooms in the get ready areas so you have to walk across the venue to get to the restroom trailer (which is super nice and air conditioned!). The other issue is that the get ready area gets extremely hot during the summer. There is a window unit but did not do much at all so bring a fan and a cooler with cool drinks!
