This Randall's has become my new go to supermarket for its nice selection of useful household items like superglue, double stick tape, and elementary school paste. The butcher is the best and most savage meat cutter in the land and belongs in the flesh slicing hall of fame. He puts the "Fil" in Filet Mignon. The fruits and vegetables are always clean despite the number of unfortunate vagrants frequently seen perusing the pristine parking lot with only a few scraps of random garbage. This store stays on top of everything. The bread is succulent and squeezable with lengthy expiration dates, ensuring weeks before the bread becomes maggot infested an moody, or about the time you would donate it to a food drive. The people are top notch and kind and respectful. The manager is held in the highest regard and revered almost to a god-like status and he will answer every question and knows where everything is. The deli serves up the greatest Olive Loaf in Austin and the Randall's Mayonnaise is the fourth best among store made condiments. The day old on sale dough nuts are fantastic, and combined with a great big glass of lactose free Milk, you cannot go wrong in culinary pleasure! The parking lot has well painted lines which help the elderly and vision impaired drivers park without much incident. My one suggestion is for Randall's to sell outlets. If Randall's sold outlets, you guys could become an "Outlet" store, sure to bring throngs of customers into your store. Your paper sacks make great paper airplanes, as seen by two million viewers of Game-5 of this years World Series, which was delayed in the 4th inning while groundskeepers had to chase it down and discard the aerial bag with the Randall's name on it. I also highly recommend the Randall's Cat Litter. Even though I do not have a cat, I buy cat litter for the fun of it, and even own a sack of Albertsons original cat litter from 1977 that is autographed by Nolan Ryan. I can send pictures upon request.Anyway, long live Randall's! Ps...Who exactly IS Randall? Can he also be called "Randy"? One day I hope to meet him.

Hi,I have been looking for a Grocery Store to go to since the one near me is inadequate on many levels.A Co-Worker at a big facility I work at in the area suggested Randalls.I went in and bought some items I needed. While there, I noticed Rockfish Filet's and hadn't had it in a while so I "Bought" $6.00 dollars worth.Fast Forward to today, 11.05.2023. I was going to cook the rock fish along with other fish I caught and bought.I look high and low in my refrigerator and no rock fish.I did not cook the Rock Fish previously either as on the same day I bought Catfish nuggets which were wrapped. The Cashier Ryan seemed to not be happy in helping me at the check out and must have charged me for the Rock Fish, then set it aside, not bagging the Rock Fish with my grocers. Now I do not have the Rock Fish I paid for and I'm sure, Ryan sent it back to the meat department after I left and the fish was un-wrapped and resold.Randalls, please weed out people who do this as we, the public trust the checkers to not be biased for anything. From here on out I am wearing my hidden camera into the store and will post the video, location and everything I need to show the world how you allow someone like Ryan to treat your customers.

Had appt scheduled for shots. Was made to wait over a hour for those that just walked in. So it does no good to schedule a time. They are also rude to everyone.

So many things on the shelves are expired and old -- and most things are 2-3 dollars more than HEB. Why would anyone go here?

Ok, this is the second time that this issue has come up. I have been living in the Neiborhood and shopping at this store for over 20 years. A while back I was told by a security Gard that I would not be allowed in the store because I was wearing a backpack. I tried to explain that I had been bringing the same backpack with me for decades without a problem to no avail. I ended up leaving without being able to make my purchases. I posted a negative review here, then later spoke to a manager by telephone who told me that they had recently hired a new security company that was later dismissed because of too many complaints. I was assured that the situation had been resolved and that there would be no problems in the future. I then took down my negative review thinking that it all had been a misunderstanding. So today it happened again. I was approached by a woman that identified herself as "Officer Brown". Once again, I tried to explain that this had happened before and had been settled. she ignored my explanation and said that she would have to follow me while I was in the store. So, while I was shopping, I noticed no fewer than three other shoppers that were also wearing backpacks and a woman with a rather large purse who were not being harassed. At this point I asked to speak to someone that was in charge. A very helpful teller directed me to a man named Nathan who said that he was the product manager.Nathan politely told me that it was ok for women to bring purses into the store but homeless people with backpacks are not allowed.Since there were already several people with backpacks that had been allowed, I can only ascertain that "Officer Brown" was assuming that I must be a homeless person despite me showing my Driver's license that has my address and my twenty-five-year-old Randalls card.I offered to let "Officer Brown" inspect my backpack as I was leaving but was turned down.Overall, a rather unpleasant experience as it no fun being treated like a common criminal at a store that I have been shopping at for over twenty years.

I went to the Randall's on Benwhite in Austin, Texas. I noticed that they had new people working. I must say I was blown away by their customer service. They were all so very. sweet, helpful, compassionate, and friendly. They want to help you, really they do, unlike how it was before. Even if the register rung up the wrong price and you have to go back to get your money back, I didn't mind! I got to chat with their super sweet employees!! My mama use to tell me to always be sweet because if you make a mistake then they will forgive you. She was right. I didn't mind driving back to get my money back. I ended up buying a few items.
In the past, I stilled shopped at Randall's to get the sales, inspite of how I was treated. A few years back, I use to have a little anxiety about how I was going to be treated before I would go in there. I'm so happy to say that it's very pleasant to shop at my Randall's. Don, is doing a great job! The lady in customer service is very sweet, and understanding. She showed a lot of empathy and care. She rocked!! The cashier's are so very sweet.

Visiting from SoCal, you notice there are not many big chain grocery stores in Austin. Randalls is one of the few and they are part of the Albertsons umbrella.Basically a copy and paste of what I am used to in SoCal.They have everything you need if you want produce, snacks, water, and alcohol. Not far from the airport. Close to the busy areas of Austin.

I showed up to fill a prescription that wasn’t even part of their good RX plan and they still managed to run it through Albertson’s and give me the lowest price in town. Thank you.

Haven't been to this location in quite a while - there's no reason to go back anytime soon...First, the men's room was out of order and no alternative was providedSecondly, the check-out lines were ridiculously slow - several calls were made for additional cashiers but no one from the store seemed to be in any hurry to help

Bill is the number one reason I continue to have all my meds filled here.He is always kind and if there is a problem, he investigates and does not always assume its the customers fault. He goes above and beyond. Yes, sometimes there is a wait but its worth it because that type of customer service doesn't happen much anymore.

I don't recommend this Randall's if you have to interact with the guy in the meat market who looks like Ed Gein and walks like Frankenstein and talked to my Mom like a rude robot, but he was so happy and sweet to help the older white lady who asked him the same question my Mom asked him after we walked away to the baking aisle. I heard him laugh and sound normal and say yes Maam and no Maam so I went back to where he was and gave him the hard stare and he looked down like a coward. That was yesterday afternoon and its still bugging me right now. I live in Pflugerville and was taking my Mom shopping for Randall's cool deals but I would rather drive to East Austin pick her up and chance going to Randall's in Pflugerville. It just sickens me to experience such hateful rudeness especially from your employee, pretty sure he's done this to other women of ethnic descent. Sure felt like it.
