Prices are high but their meat deals are fantastic, such as, bogo or bog2. I just spent $13 and walked out with $35 on meat.
I watch the sales and plan meals accordingly. I have been spending about $150 a month which less than half what I was doing since I began doing it this way.

Great little store with nice staff and terrific pharmacy staff. Good prices if you take time to shop their ads and on line specials. The only drawback is there is just one restroom for everyone, staff included, and lots of elderly patrons... plan ahead!

We can find products here we can not find at HEB, which we like. We use the Randall's on Mesa in Austin as our home pharmacy. Pleasant staff, too.

Randall‘s is the smaller grocery store chain in town behind H-E-B, which is the giant. Of course there’s also Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods and Wheatsville, but Randall is another traditional grocery store. Of course, a lot of of what they have is similar to H-E-B, but they also carry some things at H-E-B does not, and vice versa. So even though H-E-B is closer to me, I still come here sometimes, and they often have good sales. The thing I don’t like about it is that they are part of the Safeway group of grocery store chains, so to get the best prices you need to have your Safeway card with you. I kind of like H-E-B strategy of just having the lowest prices they can and not having to have some sort of loyalty program.
