I've been going to Rauls ever since I've moved to this area 6 years ago because, after extensive searching due to the three vehicles I've owned in this time, they are straight up the best. They are family owned, ALWAYS HONEST, and have the BEST PRICES They always give you the BEST RECOMMENDATIONS If there is work that needs to be done else where, and I just would never go anywhere else at this point. I would always ask Rauls what their price is first. Labor price there is the best.

Amazing work by John for my racecar. Very honest and detailed with his work. Solid guy. It's hard to trust anyone with my car, but I have such high confidence with him. He installed my roll bar, SPL suspension and did an alignment. Very knowledgeable. I've also had him work on my daily driver, replacing the radiator with a fast turnaround time. Thanks John!

I am a very satisfied customer of ten years with two vehicles. Raul’s is run honestly, with dependable, efficient service, and fair prices. They are also friendly and considerate. It is such a relief to have found a great place for car repair. I’ve met many other of their customers over the years who would never consider anywhere else.

Everyone and anyone that is in need of a inspection I highly suggest to go here. Not only is the front desk still lady really sweet and knows how to work with their customers. I went to get my car inspected and I was a little late but Mr escalante still got the job done and completely made this experience for me so easy and even exciting. It's not a lot of places out there today especially mechanic shops that a woman will feel on easy but going there and fear of getting ripped off or whatever but I will tell you guys this they are on top of their stuff, they're up to date on all the latest equipment and they are just friendly reasonable people I want to thank you so much for looking at my car.

Took ~2hrs to get a state inspection. No problem as I live nearby. A $3 "credit card fee" for a $18.50 inspection? That IS a problem.. Tried to pay cash but the person at the counter wouldnt take my $100 bill... what a joke. They might do great mechanic work but I'll never know because I wont support a place that nickle and dimes customers with bogus credit card fees.

We go to this place because it's right next to our apartment. Brought 2 vehicles in for oil changes and inspections. Oil changes are pricier here but we just came because it was convenient. This year we were due for our inspection, and I dropped off the car. 2 hours later they call me and say they won't inspect the car because the windows are tinted, but they won't charge me. Why did it take 2 hours? Also, I explained that my car has passed inspection here previously and my windows are tinted well within the legal limit. Not that dark at all. The lady on the phone wouldn't hear it. When I went to pick up the car, she asked, "So we passed you here before?" I said yes and there should be a record of it and she just shrugged and said no there's no record. Drove the car 6 minutes to the next oil change place and they passed it within 15 minutes. Never going back here again.

I had an excursion with upgraded brakes and it had been to two different mechanics one of them big box name that I won’t mention. Raul and his team have been the only ones to fix the issue properly and I’m happy to recommend to anyone to keep their family safe. Oh and they fixed the ac in my 24 year Excursion much needed work in this Austin heat.

Great place and highly recommended. I took my car on very short notice for a track alignment and inspection and John helped me set it up exactly the way I wanted it. He's very knowledgeable, detail-oriented and experienced with performance cars.

Outstanding customer service and very knowledgeable mechanics. I have been trying to get my wife's vehicle into a shop for two months but time has not been on my side. John took the extra steps to make sure the moon was aligned correctly so I could pry my wife's car from her fingers long enough to get her new tires and front struts. You will be seeing me again. Thanks Everyone who made this happen.

They charge me $3.00 extra for using my credit card to pay for $17. Inspection cost. That is a ripp off. I will make sure all of the Springwoogs neighborhood knows about it.

Today was my first time back at Raul's in a long time. I typically do my own work, and there's only a few shops in Austin that I'll bring my car to, which is why it's been a while. I'm glad to say, Raul's is still a shop that I trust, and John is always great at doing what needs to be done on my cars. I can't recommend them enough!

Charged my wife $70 for a tire rotation. Also, charged her $130 for an oil change. Her vehicle does not need synthetic oil. They were rude about it, and refused to offer any relief. $70 for a tire rotation....that is criminal.
