Regal Gateway is a movie theatre in Austin, TX, offering an overall good and pleasant experience for seeing the latest releases. The theatre is very clean, with clean seats between showings and roomy, clean, okay restrooms. It features premium viewing formats like IMAX, 4DX, and 3D, with IMAX screenings described as good, delivering high-octane thrills, crisp visuals, and a powerful, trackside thunder sound system. The Regal Luxury Recliners are a major highlight, noted as plush, comfortable, and capable of retiring back pain, though the 4DX seats were found by one guest to be so hard and uncomfortable they could barely make it through the movie. The concessions are exciting, with good quality popcorn and drinks, and the people selling food are very nice and patient. The location is also great. However, some operational aspects receive mixed feedback. The prices are admittedly higher than some remember or like. A significant annoyance for one guest was that the movie did not start on time, with ads playing past the listed showtime. Another guest expressed a serious security concern, feeling the experience was sinister because an individual was allowed in with a full backpack without a check, which prompted them to leave early. On a positive note, the staff is commended for their kindness, with one story highlighting how they took the time to ship back a lost wallet. While these issues are noted, many guests state they would definitely come back again, will definitely revisit, and consider the theatre a podium finish for movie night, albeit with some planning like arriving later than usual or bringing a pillow and jacket for certain formats.
So quick question, is project hail marry playing on wensday? (I know this ain't the place but calling gets bots and doesn't work)

I love watching movies here. The seats are amazing, it's clean, friendly. Great deals on Tuesday.

My experience there was pleasant outside of the fact that 2 medium popcorn and 2 medium drinks costs $44 ($38 pre tax). $44! I could have gone to amc or Cinemark and spent half that, or go to Alamo draft house or flix brewhouse and get dinner with my movie for probably around the same price.
