I've been using Reid's for 25 years. They have a new policy in place where individual stores are NO LONGER ALLOWED by Travis Reid (the owner) to distribute forms to reimburse you for damaged shirts. Travis and his team will ask you to go to the shirt manufacturer to request that they give you a new shirt for a burn mark on your dress shirt which they see as a manufacturing defect.

They did an outstanding job on my dresses! Took in some regular men's shirts as well and again, outstanding. The only one I will use from now on

I’ve been a customer of Reid’s cleaners for over a year. I dropped off a childhood jersey looooonnnnggg since forgotten about & discovered at the bottom of a bin. Clearly, you can SEE how amazing they took care of this garment! They did hold on to it a bit longer than usual, and I received a call from Travis (I believe). He explained the risks, the process of getting the aged stains out, and comforted me in stating he would only try the ends initially before tackling the entire shirt for concern of the green thread bleeding into the white. Remember this is easily 30+ year jersey!I whole heartedly recommend this location. I’ve always had good experiences, quick service dropping off & picking up, the staff has greeted me friendly, often with laughter. It’s off Brodie (slaughter) in the shopping center next to Randall’s. There are plenty of parking spaces. Easy to access as well, not tight parking spaces.

Morning staff are rude. They pick an choose how your garments should be clean. When in over 8 eight years I have laundered the garment at their facility the way I want,as a customer, wants"it. Th. staff chooses the costly process. To replace a button they gave me ridicules price and a long time to get garnet back.

Ridiculously overpriced. Go to Rick's... transparent pricing (reasonable) and they do better job.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE!I am not one to complain, especially not publicly...but this experience was awful, and my sweater is ruined. This is a little long, but worth reading if you care about your items.I brought my favorite sweater to Reid's on 05/01/2021, full of chocolate cake (after math of a nice time with friends that I had not seen in a long time). I asked the person working onsite if they would be able to wash/clean my sweater from "chocolate cake" - she said: "Yes, it will be ready Tuesday after 5:30pm". I came back on Wednesday afternoon, the sweater was not there. No phone warning, nothing. Okay, I just asked for a phone call when the sweater was at the shop as I was traveling a couple days later. Silence. I came back to the store the next day, and my sweater was there. No one had called me. Silence. The sweater was even more stained than previously...and the stains are pressed in, non salvageable. I showed the women working there and she said nothing is wrong (pictures will prove differently). Then she proceeded to call the manager (offsite), could not reach him, and no follow up (after asking for one - twice). No follow up, no follow through, horrible communication/knowledge, and a lost my favorite sweater (only reason I took it to the dry cleaner - wished I had read reviews like this prior to that). It is now stained forever. At this point, I just have to laugh about it and make the best of it, but this was a terrible experience all together. It is suppose to be their area of expertise, and they did not deliver on any level. If you want your clothes back the same way they looked "originally", I would suggest googling a home made method, or going to another trusted place. Very disappointed.

Told me one price charge me another. $5.35 per shirt for pressing only. Looks like my drunk uncle ironed one of them.

Yall. $100 for 8 pieces. I'm floored and never going back. Two stars because it was ready on time, not lost, and they look fine. Not affordable and never going back. I'm eating rice and beans for the rest of the month.

Will not come back! I requested (and paid) for next day service because my wife had a job interview the following morning and when I went to go pick it up that evening they said that they weren't going to be done until the next evening. The clerk was dismissive and unapologetic. We then drove to Dripping Springs to get the suit for the next day. The clerk there was super nice and I explained the situation to her, letting her know that I was not mad at her but at the situation. I dropped off my suit the morning of 6/17/2019 for a 6/18 pickup.

Terrible customer service. They lost 1 of 3 sweaters I brought in for cleaning and told me it would take 30 days to find it.

These people are incompetent! I'm from Corpus Christi here on business. I bought a new dress shirt for a meeting I was having in 2 days. I searched for a cleaners that could have it cleaned and starched by the next day so I can pick it up before the meeting. I stressed this. I come back to pick it up on the morning of my meeting, and they tell me it will not be ready until 5 p.m. that day! I have to go buy a new one now and go with the lines pressed in it, to my meeting. These people lack.

Best cleaner in South Austin. Reliable, consistent and the friendliest staff! Been going there for a few years now and never had a bad experience.
