Great place to stay while in Austin. Staff is very nice, especially the gentleman that works the free breakfast in the morning. Rooms are good, could use some minor repairs but nothing major. Location is convenient, worth the higher price.

Terrible management and service when addressing leak in ceiling of room on 1st floor today - Marriott, do something please about training your managers properly on customer service. Paying $300+ night for a room with water dripping on you from a bathroom ceiling that's noticeably been patched is bad enough, then you deal with the hotel manager telling me I should have reported the leak earlier. Terrible service for the price - wouldn't recommend this Residence Inn
Rooms: Leaky ceiling in bathroom, dripping water through a previously patched ceiling
Safety: Unsanitary - water dripping through ceiling from what was either upper floor bathroom shower or worse yet a toilet

The only Marriott property I’ve stayed at that doesn’t have bottles of water for guests, you need to buy them from the store. I’m Ambassador and have stayed in properties across the country.

Don’t stay here they charged my card twice for fees for “damage” when we haven’t even checked out yet! & no one can tell me why! Only here for the show tonight and I will be leaving first thing in the morning and will NEVER! Stay here again!

A little distance away from downtown Austin, but I can't complain because the place is clean, has a kitchen, has a standard free breakfast, and is relatively cheap.

This is a decent 3 star Marriott. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean. It’s a typical Residence Inn. The location was slightly confusing. It’s less true University area and more Dell Children’s medical center area. The gym is decent. They have a pool. Free parking. And great friendly staff.
The bed was very uncomfortable and felt a bit dated. Overall a decent stay, true 3 stars.

First time staying here. Very nice, clean and quiet hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. I will stay here again. Debbie the assistant manager was a hoot. Made me feel welcomed and part of the "family". The breakfast selection needs some help, but coffee was good.
Rooms: The room was large and comfortable. The bed nice and big.

Absolutely amazing, there was a computer glitch that double booked so they gave us a suite with 2 separate rooms 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen and dining area plus living room

We had a great experience at this hotel. This was our first time traveling with an infant, and the amenities and staff made our stay as smooth as possible. Pack and play was noted on our reservation and setup in our room upon arrival. The manager also gave us a complimentary upgrade which obviously was at her discretion and due to the availability. The location is very convenient, with many shops in walking distance or a short drive. Mueller is really nice too with a park and kids museum. Only complaints about this visit were the WiFi (speed is very slow), breakfast (not the greatest, albeit free), and our door lock and strike plate was a bit “sticky”, making it hard to shut the door.
Security is a bit of a factor at this location so you need a key to even get into the lobby of the hotel.
The room is fairly nice with all the amenities you expect in a Residence Inn. The AC gets very cold but seems to only cool the living room well and not the bedroom unless you keep the door to the bedroom open.
The bathroom was a bit dated but overall very functional and adequate.
The staff were always very nice and friendly.
When we come back to Austin, we will definitely consider this location again.

What a disappointing two night stay this was. Security is clearly an issue. Hotel requires a key card for all areas at all times - even to access the lobby during the daytime. Front entrance is hard to find, since there is no proper signage. Parking is something of a free for all, since it shares space with multiple retailers including a Home Depot. Broken glass all over the parking lot when we arrived. Our room door locked us in and out several times during our two night stay. I imagine that’s a fire hazard, not just inconvenient. Neither of the internal doors to the bedrooms closed properly - doors just got stuck in the frame. The best part was on the second night when the WiFi (already pretty weak in the room) just stopped working. Which also meant the TV stopped working. When I called down to the front desk, she simply gave me a number for the hotel’s WiFi provider (Blueprint) and said I would have to call them myself, since it was only a problem in our room, and the TV maintenance guy wasn’t available. She couldn’t have cared less if she tried! I travel quite a bit, stay in Marriott hotels a lot, and I have never once been asked to call a service provider to fix an in-room problem! Just weird. The beds were clean and comfortable enough, although the bathrooms needed a deep clean. Shower door frame was filthy. Carpets were not vacuumed well and I kept finding random hair and dust bunnies. Couch (very uncomfortable) and cushions needed a deep clean and some serious stain removal. The AC was incredibly loud and not very effective. Water pressure was very weak in the shower. Traffic noise from the main roads just outside was really loud. Breakfast (not very good, and way too crowded) was out of a lot of items by 8:15am, despite hours being 6-9am. In addition, we were left waiting for hours on arrival for our room, despite being told initially that it would be ready within the hour. Definitely go elsewhere if you can. Absolutely not worth the money, and frankly a very disappointing experience from Marriott.

Our stay at this hotel was great! It is very clean, modern and comfortable. The bed was comfy and they had the best pillows. The staff was welcoming. The location is great as well. It is located by a lot of food and shopping. We didn’t get a chance to go swimming but they do have a pool. We will definitely be staying here anytime we are in Austin again.
