I had my second son’s footprint tattooed by Michelle and it’s amazing! Michelle is so sweet, has a light touch, hilarious to talk to, and an incredibly talented artist. I’ve already booked my next session with her!
The shop is clean, has a lot of interesting art, and is welcoming.

I have been getting tattooed at Resurrection Tattoo for years now. Justin is absolutely incredible and insanely talented. All of the artists are professional, friendly and always greet you when you walk in. If you want an awesome tattoo done well, I highly recommend this shop. Every artist is top notch so you can’t go wrong with who you choose.

The best traditional artists I’ve seen to be completely honest. Justin has a real talent for his choice in colors and his incredibly clean line work that has earned damn near weekly compliments to my arms and chest for well over 10 years now.
The artists as a whole are incredibly talented- I encourage you to check out their IG to check them out. This is a shop that I choose to drive 3 hours to for over a decade now because I know I’m getting exactly what I want, but better.

Resurrection was the last stop on my family's Christmas vacation trip to Austin. This was my mom's first tattoo and my sister's girlfriend's second! Everyone was so kind and patient with all of us (there were five of us in the lobby!). Highly recommend this shop for simple walk in tattoos - we wanted something quick, precise, and we got it. Couldn't be happier! My tattoo (simple morse code dots and dashes) was done by Alex and healed so well! Highly recommend this shop - kind, hardworking people.

I’m not an expert on tattoos but I have been collecting them for 20+ years. I came up in Dallas and have many from great artists from there. Resurrection tattoo in Austin has some of the best artists I’ve been privileged to be tattooed by! All artists are great but Justin and Alex have been the tattooers I prefer most!

Just got a tattoo done here while visiting town and absolutely loooved it! Justin was so sweet and friendly made it such a fun and comfortable experience. Took what I wanted for the tattoo and made it perfect. Would definitely come here again next time I’m in the area! 🩷

All the artists have sick art. Alex is the artist I go to and he never disappoints. Every time I get a tattoo from him he exceeds expectations, always making my idea better than what I thought it would look like. They’re always doing walk-ins too! 10/10 recommend!!

Alex was my artist and he’s one of a kind. I’ve had 4 different artists and Alex is going to check all of the boxes. His customer care was incredible and the way he drew up my tattoo was exactly how I envisioned it. I’m so grateful for Alex after all of my subpar experiences. I recommend this shop highly and will be a returning customer for any tattoos I need.
