Two price increases in a year. Started renting at $150/month and raised to $250/ month prior to even a year. Careful when you rent if you plan on it being longer than a short term. The first increase came 3 months after we rented the unit.

It was a really easy process to get the unit I needed. The electronic signature fir the lease agreement was tricky but I received very kind help with it. Alex, the manager, was also super helpful with calls and texts with helpful information.

STEER CLEAR!!
I rented a climate controlled unit here for over a year in 2020-2021. My unit was broken into twice. The first time I received a phone call to let me know and I was promised that the owners would be fixing the broken cameras on site. The second time I got an email on a Saturday that was sent after they had closed for the weekend and things went downhill from there.
I wasn’t able to inventory what was stolen until the following Monday, when I learned management had not filed a report yet. The cameras had still not been fixed and I was told the owners were “dragging their feet”, despite working cameras advertised as a security feature. I spoke to Steve (a manager at the time) and he was beyond unprofessional. He essentially told me they have no responsibility to secure anything and I expected too much. He then threatened to have me removed from the property because I asked another customer in the lobby if he was aware the cameras didn’t work and they had experienced multiple break-ins recently. When I eventually spoke to the district manager (Julie), she echoed the same sentiments. She said they don’t have to notify anyone of a break-in, they have no responsibility to provide security or fix cameras they advertise as operational, and I had to push hard to get a refund when I vacated early because I wasn’t comfortable continuing to store things there. They eventually credited me the partial month ($39), but that was it- no refund.
Although Sue was polite when I originally signed a contract, it’s clear their management standards are well below what they should be. Steve was awful and so disrespectful, I hope he’s no longer employed there and honestly he shouldn’t be a manager anywhere.
I recognize this review is years later, but I realized recently that I had made a review on NextDoor and never on google and I feel strongly that customers should know their property is at risk when using this company. I haven’t used RightSpace since then and I will never use them in the future or recommend them to anyone.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is an absolute scam. We rented a unit, only to find that they were increasing our rates by 28% after the first month. Enough time to move our stuff in and then have us as a captive audience. I called the company, to which they said they would attempt to hold off the increase by a month. Then the guy states that his system is not allowing it. I would need to call back after the next billing cycle. In attempts to get rid of me and hope that I didn’t call back in time. When I asked for a supervisor, the system magically started working and they approved our existing rate for another month. The parent company confirmed there is no cap to how much they can increase your rent each month. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from these crooks!!
