I could not be happier with the product and especially the installation. It was clear they knew what they were doing. We have cedar diagonal planks on the walls and stairwell that required undercutting. The stairs were a special challenge but was done perfectly. A rare experience in home improvements.

My experience at Schroeder boils down their customer service. To put it quite simply, the individual who I spoke with there is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever encountered and should not be in customer service. Clearly, she needs training or perhaps a different job where she has no interaction with clients. I can't speak for the others who work there and I am not typically one to write a review, but this behavior was so appalling that I think others should beware.

Customer service could use work. I just got off the weirdest call with this place. We are trying to change the carpet upstairs and this was the first place on yelp that somehow has good ratings. I call for a quote as well as an idea on the process and the woman on the phone is instantly stand-offish. It ends with her asking me " if I'm just looking for something cheap and quick " ....I could feel the eye rolling through the phone. What kind of ridiculous question is that? Why are you saying that to customers? No. I'm looking to replace my entire upstairs. It always speaks volumes when the person working for a business talks down on Customers who are willing to pay for service. Maybe she had a gut feeling that I wanted cheap service, I'm sure that uppity attitude is good for business.
