Technician changed parts left old parts on top of dryer plus charged me $53.00 to clean inside and left the dust on my garage floor for me to clean up. If this is the type of warranty service Sears give its customer them I'm changing. Tried to get the technicians attention before leaving was not successful.

Didn’t get our dryer fixed today and it wasn’t because of the door, that had nothing to do with it, needing heating element fixed, dryer was not getting hot. But they took my $85 fee, not happy, we’ve been using this warranty company forever, nothing to do with the technician

I wrote directly to them for action/response, but received no acknowledgement. I used two separate e-mail addresses found in the Yelp reviews (
[email protected] and
[email protected]).Approximately May 2018, we contracted with Sears Home Improvement for a bathroom remodeling project. We paid $7531.00. This was charged to our American Express on 5/7/2018.The staff did well and walked us through the project.About a year went by and we noted some mold in the seams at the bottom of the shower. We suspected it needed to be caulked and were surprised how soon we required maintenance on this since we were told it would be pretty much maintenance free. This mold continued about every quarter. We finally got fed up with it about 2-years ago and contacted Sears. They said the warranty was only good for a year. Seemed like lots of money to pay for something that lasted so little time. This last year we noted more mold build up and almost like a loose shower pan and wondered what was going on. We contacted a professional to come look at this. No surprise to find that we are having to redo the bathroom remodeling that Sears did for us. The corners were not sealed properly behind the back board. The mold got into the insulation and wood and rusted bolts. The liner used was torn. We will now pay more than what we originally paid Sears because the job was not done right the first time.It saddens me that SEARS as a whole was a store that there was no doubt through my childhood our parents made that are first choice in getting tools, appliances, toys, etc. Everyone wanted those craftsman tools cause they were guaranteed for life. The appliances were dependable and lasted for a very long time. When home remodeling was a choice, I elected to use Sears as it was backed by a name that had been around since my childhood.Never again - I would NOT recommend them.

Sears Home ServicesBusiness ManagerDon't pretend that you care, with your auto response. I called your customer service with no relief twice, and now our credit card challenge has been declined. Your repair technicians (at least the two we dealt with) are dishonest, and I cannot NOT recommend you enough.

I'm personally not one to write on yelp. But I'm so frustrated that something needs to be said. I scheduled my appointment I think about a week or two ago from today. My arrival window for my technician was from 1 PM - 5 PM. I initially received a text/email that stated how I missed my tech when they never came. So I went to the chatbox provided on my appointment page and was told the text/email was a mistake and that they were still coming. Come time to around 5:15 PM, I use the chatbox again with someone name Cameron Smith (who was dismissive and overall didn't give a shit about the situation) who had informed me that there was a problem with the current appointment and that it required more time for the technician. Understandable if it were a simple 20-30mins. However, it was a whole hour late and yet again I'm at the chatbox with Cameron... (unfortunately), and who didn't care for my frustration. Simply gave me the same f**king answer (copied and paste type answer) and told me they're contacting the tech again. At this point, it's too late and I'm very mad. I asked to be given a number to a supervisor or someone who actually gave a f**k. Only to be told there is no such number. Now, I'm f**king over it. I decided to find a number I can call because CAMERON SMITH was only making me even more upset by his lack of f**ks he doesn't want to give doing his job. I call the first location I can get the number to state my complaint and reschedule an appointment for tomorrow morning. Seeing as they didn't get to come to me ALL DAY TODAY. Nothing they can do but schedule me two weeks from now when I already missed work today for them. Overall I decided F**K Sears. Damn straight I'm telling anyone who cares that Sears doesn't :)
