Serenity Wig & Salon is Austin's oldest family-owned wig salon and a premier destination for high-quality wigs and services. The small, bright shop inside a strip center has crystal chandeliers and plenty of seating. It offers the largest selection of synthetic, monofilament, and human hair wigs, toppers, accessories, hats, and hair care products. The team of experienced stylists provides very good service, displaying wonderful customer service that is compassionate, caring, and never rushed. They are dedicated to helping find the perfect piece, whether for hair loss from chemo, alopecia, aging, or a congenital disease. Stylists take their time with consultations, offering personalized experiences and explaining options like toppers for a cooler, more natural look. They also provide customizations and alterations in a timely fashion. Located within the business is a full salon for styling help. The shop has hundreds of wigs to choose from, though wigs do not have retail prices on the tags. All hair and headwear sales are final.
Came in looking for a cut and shape for an old wig I'd purchased which I hadn't been able to get to fit properly. I left with one that had a shape and color which were both complementary along with personal style choice. Olivia did a superb job cutting it!

Barbara was tremendously helpful. She explained that a "topper" would blend in with my natural hair and be cooler and more natural than a full wig. I thought a consultation would be around 15 minutes, but she took 45 minutes to show me how toppers work and to try some on me. There was never any pressure to buy.
