  Pump handles lack spring-returns so they lock into place and need to be released by manually fiddling with the latch - very bad for motorcycles.
  Also ads at the pump cannot be muted.

  I am thankful to report that this convenience store has improved dramatically whereas here is what you need to know before coming here
  
  If I don't really have something good to say I usually just don't leave a review so I haven't really left a review for this convenience store and all the years I've been coming here on and off for gas cuz usually I'll just put gas elsewhere or at the 7-Eleven across the street
  
  this is because the Indian gentleman or Indian woman who would normally be running this store were extremely cold with chastise you and treat you as dirt especially if you didn't buy like over 10 or $20 worth of stuff in addition to putting gas
  
  And I understand they have a business that's based on a business model of you coming inside to buy stuff and it really don't make that much off gas
  
  also they don't have a restroom that they like the Republic to use they really just don't like anybody using their one restroom and to be quite honest it's pretty much not worth mentioning but listen if I'm putting gas sometimes I need to use the darn restroom at every opportunity I get so I don't have to later and this is not one of those places it still is not
  
  except now I guess they have improved because now they have a food trailer next door with little tables to eat at they will now let you use the restroom they keep it well maintain The new Indian gentleman there is very friendly and hospitable and now they have a more wider variety of non-alcoholic drinks cuz again I don't really do alcohol but they also have a wide variety this time around of alcohol beer cigars cigarettes knick knacks and even allergy pills if you're under sinuses and you don't want to continue over just a few blocks down the Walgreens you can put up a box of Sudafed here for almost about the same price as you would at Walmart or Walgreens or CVS for that matter
  
  but this is the key and that is that they finally fixed their gas pumps and now report accurately the pricing with no hidden pricing like they would do to scam people out of what felt like a very bad experience
  
  listen just tell me what the prices are going to be for gas per gallon before anything else not oh the prices you see there is if you buy so much inside or pay with cash inside or don't use your rewards or the prices were reporting on the pumps are what it is minus what you think you might get if you use cell rewards or a Shell credit card
  
  would do this kind of crap where there were actually the most expensive gas in the area but you would think you're coming here for the cheapest gas in the area all need to be left with a rude awakening at the pump that they had all kinds of strings attached to get the price that they were posting which thankfully they are no longer doing
  
  And this is especially important if you have shell rewards cuz now we shall rewards and with this being nearby where I live I can quickly just drive up to here The pumps now work whereas before I'd have to go inside forgive me but sometimes I'm in a rush I just need to put into rewards in the pump use a certain business card for business deductions fill up my car and go and thankfully they have fixed that and they do a great job now making sure the receipt paper is there so you can get your receipt because the app doesn't always reflect it correctly which matters for points
  
  And those points cost darn it add up in a year to some significant savings with this being really the only shell in the general arboretum area I am glad to say now this location doesn't even better job of maintaining overall a positive customer experience

  Gentlemen at the Shell gas station, the person serving customers was very rude to me, because I went in to ask for my change because I paid for my gas and I filled up with less and he got angry, to begin with, he is not there, he is in the store next door, and I bought a lottery ticket and he gave me the one he wanted because he has headphones on and doesn't pay attention, I told him it's not the one I want and he was very insolent and dared to tell me I don't want you to come back here, what kind of person do you put in charge of serving customers, with my money I can go wherever I want. but if he does this to me, what can you expect if older people go, how will he treat them, terrible service.

  Idk how honest this gas station is I went into the store where the new gentleman yelled at for simple asking to speak to the gentleman that was there working on his building due to me finding his wallet in the parking lot he said" he is working for me your concerns are not his" I was simply trying to do the right thing and did not deserve to be spoken that way they store is under new management but still don't think I will be returning for anything with that kind of service. People can judge for them self but new management needs to address the service people get when coming into the store. I did go into the store nextdoor which is the same management which the lady was happy to get the wallet back to the owner thanks smokeland lady ?

  Stay away from this place. The owner(s) are extremely rude and present an unwelcoming vibe. Seems to be a husband and wife team, and usually when I have gone in both are behind the counter giving a snarling look. They have permanently lost my business but also my family and neighbors. Do right by the customer and they do right by you

  This place is a total ripoff. This is the 2nd time I have gone in there and they have tried to charge me almost 20 extra dollars for a couple bottles of water. I had to correct the guy after it was over 23 dollars for two bottles of water. Shady people.

  Finally a gas station that has a functioning air pump. Not only that, they’re not upcharging for using a card to pay. AND you can set the air pressure you want and it will beep when the tire has gotten to that level. Brilliant, can’t express enough how much this makes me happy compared to the literal 5 other stations with busted air compressors.

  There's a special place in hell for gas station attendants who deny the use of the restroom to paying customers. So where does he go, on a bucket? This guy is so shameless he even told me to walk to the 7 11 across the street. They also play tricks with the advertised price of gas, so steer clear of this one, they definitely don't deserve your business.

  don’t even worth a star. big time scam steal and charge more than should be just because you don’t ask him about the price or asking for receipt he will rob you. charges over $14 for pack of cigarette unreal, no more than $10-11 anywhere in Austin will definitely reports that scammer

  If you don't buy something from inside the store, you can't go to the bathroom, even though they're filled with diesel, they're very rude.
